Angela, I really liked that one. Quite a "gentle" read. Slow paced, but in a relaxing way, not boring.

I got started on The Dovekeepers which I got a few weeks ago for a good price. So far is very interesting. I like some of Alice Hoffman's books but not all.

I also started The Tooth Fairy The Tooth Fairy by Graham Joyce , by Graham Joyce. This is the third book by this author I've read, and I really enjoy his style of writing.

I certainly am enjoying them, Chris. It's rare that I read a series so quickly, but I think they're very good:)

Angela (bookangel2) | 1454 comments At the moment, I'm reading Incendiary by Chris Cleave and a yet-to-be published book about Anne of Cleves, for review. I've also started dipping into Undoing Perpetual Stress: The Missing Connection Between Depression, Anxiety and 21stCentury Illness. This is a mammoth book, but relatively up-to-date (2005) - looks very interesting.

I know what you mean about the David Mitchell book. The first chapter grabbed me and I thought I would fly through it. It turns into a very different kind of story after that introductory chapter. I do think it was worth sticking with though, I learned things about Japanese history which I'd had no clue about.

message 743: by Bridgette (new)

Bridgette | 1282 comments Mod
just gave up on The Red Knight as it was poor, I just couldn't understand what was happening as it get jumping between points of view. it could have been better if it didn't kept jumping between the different points of view.
but I am going start on reading Wool hopefully it will be a good book to read.
I am still reading Siege: To Green Angel Tower the plot is still fairly slow but I am going to push through it as I want to complete the series hopefully by the new year.
so what is everyone else currently reading?

message 744: by Bridgette (new)

Bridgette | 1282 comments Mod
