Angela, I really liked that one. Quite a "gentle" read. Slow paced, but in a relaxing way, not boring.
I got started on The Dovekeepers which I got a few weeks ago for a good price. So far is very interesting. I like some of Alice Hoffman's books but not all.
The Dovekeepers
The Dovekeepers

I've had to restart a few times, but about 230 pages in this time. Great story telling.
I also started The Tooth Fairy

The Dovekeepers"
Alice how did you get on with
The Dovekeepers. I liked it well enough at the time, but several weeks later, I like it more - odd!

I certainly am enjoying them, Chris. It's rare that I read a series so quickly, but I think they're very good:)

im currently reading Hero of ages by brandon sanderson finally made it to the last book of the epic triology. really enjoying it

I keep meaning to read this series, I will look out for your review

I know what you mean about the David Mitchell book. The first chapter grabbed me and I thought I would fly through it. It turns into a very different kind of story after that introductory chapter. I do think it was worth sticking with though, I learned things about Japanese history which I'd had no clue about.

I couldn't do it. I gave up and I am on to North of Beautiful which I am enjoying.
North of Beautiful
Life is too short to read boring or disgusting books!

no I haven't read the first book and didn't know there was one until I am 50 pages into this one. I think (hope) this one can stand on its own.

Im almost finished with The Dragonbone Chair by Tad Williams. Just started the Gypsy Morph by Terry Brooks.
The Town Below the Ground: Edinburgh's Legendary Underground City
I just finished this which I got on interlibrary loan and sure enjoyed the last half of it. The part about the chimney sweeps was too sad.

just finished Dark Eden and quite enjoyed it eventually. it was only when I could get my head around what was happening in the plot. now I have moved onto Vengeance, so far so good.

The Summoner
The Egyptian
The Diabolist
I'm on my third and recommend

just finished Skarsnik it was an awesome read I could imagine everything that happened within the plot. still reading Siege: To Green Angel Tower the plot is just going slow to get into I, but I will try to complete it as I would like to complete the series itself. just started The Red Knight
just gave up on The Red Knight as it was poor, I just couldn't understand what was happening as it get jumping between points of view. it could have been better if it didn't kept jumping between the different points of view.
but I am going start on reading Wool hopefully it will be a good book to read.
I am still reading Siege: To Green Angel Tower the plot is still fairly slow but I am going to push through it as I want to complete the series hopefully by the new year.
so what is everyone else currently reading?
