~Sara~ I finished Storm Front last night. Thank you very much for the recommendation. I'm sure I'll go on and read more of these. An interesting take on wizards in our world. Reminded me a bit of the Garret PI books by Glen Cook.
I'm on book 4 of the Dresden Files and I love this kind of series; once you get to know the main character you get to watch them change or predict their responses as the series progresses so I always care more about their lives and what happens to them. The In Death series is great for this as well. Especially since the authors always seem to give you just enough of the characters history to keep you coming back for the rest. For In Death it was Roarke's story that I wanted more of and in the Dresden Files, it's his Godmother's. I'm not sure if you've come across her yet but she definitely has me intrigued!I've never heard of Glen Cook. I'll have to check him out. I love a good detective story but I haven't read a lot of them yet.
Glen Cook writes several different series. The Garret PI series starts with Sweet Silver Blues There are maybe a dozen books in the series out now. He's a private investigator in a fantasy setting. There are trolls, dwarves, centaurs, and all the rest of the fantasy crew. It's been a couple of years since I read one, but they are good.
The fantasy element just made them that much more appealing. Thank you for bringing these to my attention! I'm off to see if the library has them...They only have 5 and 12. Can they be read alone or are they better read in sequence?

Hi Hayley! This month has been a slow reading month for me. So, I just finished The Unsung Hero. I liked it! Thank you so much for the gentle nudge to finally get it off of Mt. TBR. I've heard that the other books in the series are even better so, I'm definitely going to continue with this series. Thanks again for the great rec!
I'm cutting it a tad close but I finished Tithe. I enjoyed it but it was way darker than I expected it to be. I don't read too many YA reads but i found it interesting that there were so many dark elements to this since it was targeted to teens.
Annie (a mad hamster) I finished Graceling today, I loved it. Thanks for recommending it for me. I really want to read the rest of them also. I was surprised at how much I liked Po. Great YA read.

I'm glad that you liked what I picked! I was wondering if you had read it yet since I hadn't seen you post anything about it.
Lili, I finished PS, I Love You today and thought it was a really good book. Thanks for recommending it, as who knows how much longer it would have sat on my TBR without it.

Well I do like good sex scenes, obscenely hot guys, kick ass girls and fun dialogue. It didn't seem to me like it is the typical book that I enjoy. But I guess I could give it a shot.
Naked in Death
I found the character tough, crude and sharp on the edges..A topical story , with adult interactions, senators, and a shady boyfriend. Recommended, I will be reading more of this author 4stars
Tempting the Beast
I like erotic fiction as much as the next person, and this series had real potential but it transcended a lot of the boundaries I'd previously read. This was the first Lora Leigh book I've read, and I was looking forward to trying something different, but now I won't be in any real hurry to rush out and read the rest of this series, unfortunately, unless they're a marked improvement from book one!. 3 stars for the plot I will finish A Hunger Like No Other
today
I just finished Clockwork Angel yesterday :D I'm not late! Not at all! :PThe book was brilliant, as expected (:
Oh man, I haven't been able to do the final update (my spreadsheet is at home) so please bear with me! :)

I'm glad you like Graceling. I still have Fire on my physical TBR pile.
