Krait,

I really enjoyed the Earthsea trilogy. Hope you do. In fact, I've loved almost everything Le Guin has written.

Hi Susan, I know I'll enjoy it as I've read it about 15 times before :)

To Kill a Mockingbird would be a great book to revisit! I wonder what I think about it now compared to when I was in grade nine!

Hi everyone! I haven't really been around much in the past couple months. Can't wait to get back into reading again!!!

I've already read a few on the list so it took me a little bit to decide which one I was going to go with. I'm gonna start January with The Lovely Bones and if I finish that I think I will read White Oleander. Maybe even sneak Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets in there if I get the first two choices done since I am currently re-reading this series again and this happens to be the next book for me to read.

Luann (azbookgal) | 1020 comments Turns out I have quite a lot of books on the coming-of-age shelf sitting right here in stacks waiting to be read:

* Leviathan by Scott Westerfeld
* Monsters of Men by Patrick Ness
* The Scorch Trials by James Dashner
* When My Name Was Keoko by Linda Sue Park
* The Battle of the Labyrinth by Rick Riordan
* The Last Olympian by Rick Riordan
* Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen

Not sure how many of them I'll get to, though!

ETA: Also, just realized I have one from the library on the Coming of Age shelf: The Cardturner: A Novel about a King, a Queen, and a Joker by Louis Sachar

Addie (addiemon) | 5 comments Hokay, I'm finally back to GoodReads after a break for the holidays (and a lot of time spent reading nothing but Dresden Files novels @_@), and I'm finally getting around to participating in one of these!

I've got a lot on the to-do list so I'm starting out small with the first volume of The Hunger Games, because I keep hearing about it from people so I figure I should read it before it gets made into a movie/TV series/whatever.

And if I get through that with plenty of time I'll pull another off my 'why-haven't-I-read-this-yet' list: Lord of the Flies.

Lisa Now that I have a Kindle (Yay Me!) I vow to be a more active participant this year. I enjoy the variety of topics from month to month. It is fun to see if I have a book that fits already on my shelf, but if not, there is one now only a click away! This month I will read "The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake", by Aimee Bender which has actually been on my shelf for awhile. I also intend to post more reviews and participate in discussion. It is no fun just to watch from the sidelines! So, Happy New Year...looking forward to some good reads this year! The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake by Aimee Bender

Lisa - I was so excited to see your post. I am reading The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake this month also, for another group, but did not realize that it was on the coming-of-age shelf. YAY for me!

So, now I have 6 or 7 books on my list, and the ones I will read are probably not the ones I listed to begin with at all, lol. One wonders, sometimes, why I even make a list. :P

That is so me, lol! It's like adding books to the TBR and going out and reading something completely different, it happens :D

Tara | 742 comments I just found out that Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter is waiting for me at the library. So I think I will hopefully get to that this month as well.
