I am enjoying both the more action/straightforward (if anything in Malazan books could be called straightforward :D) and the more "dragging" (not a word I would use, but a word ppl use at some parts) and "philosophical discourse" parts... I like when the characters, from time to time, engage in some kind of philosophical debate, elaborating on a subject... I often find bits there that I can somehow incorporate into my own :)))
