Reads with Scotch no, the block heater is just for the engine... but there are arctic cab heaters that wil keep the interior near freezing temps (20-30). but you risk fire, and a ginormous electric bill... though I suppose used someplace like VA would keep it considerably warmer in the car.

sounds like running it in the morning is still the best idea.

twi hards are totally fanatics. Like, rpat poster kissing, squealing pre teens. and if making fun of people who like nicholas sparks makes you a book snob, then I take back my hate. I am totally a book snob.

On a side note, i do NOT hate olive garden...a fact which would make my italian grandmother cry. oh well, breadsticks!

Stina (stinalee) | 653 comments I hate people who hate Olive Garden. Oooh, it's not authentic Italian food? Who gives a fuck? It's delicious.

smetchie | 5729 comments You know what I don't think I count for any of Aileen's hates after all! How do you pronounce that? Is it like Eileen? I've wondered that since "Annie."

message 56: by Aileen (new)

Aileen Mine is "A-lean" The only other person I know who shares the same name says it the same way but I have heard of it both ways. Obviously the more awesome pronunciation is mine

message 57: by smetchie (new)

smetchie | 5729 comments Good. A-lean is how I've been saying it in my head. That's how I say it for the girl in "Annie" too and if she doesn't like it she can suck it.

Aileen my parents saddled me with a semi strange first name and no middle name. I was doomed from the start. It does annoy me a little when people are Aileen but pronounce it Eileen. Add it to the hate list along with the song "Come on Eileen". my boss will sing that to me approximately once a day...even though thats not my effing name.

Sally (mrsnolte) | -1 comments What girl in Annie?

message 60: by smetchie (new)

smetchie | 5729 comments The one who played Annie in the film. Aileen Quinn.

Stina (stinalee) | 653 comments Aileen Quinn was also the star of the movie the 6th grade girls watched at Damascus Middle School (Go Tigers!) to learn about men-u-stration. It was very informative and featured pads with belts. I watched this filmstrip in 1991.

All you can eat soup and breadsticks! Fantastic!

Tom Foolery (tomfoolery) This is a seriously late response, but I take issue with Rusty saying that Iowa is the most boring state. I feel that Nebraska, Kansas, and Ohio are all strong contenders for that title.

message 65: by Rusty (new)

Rusty (rustyshackleford) | 2198 comments I've never been to Nebraska or Kansas, but yes, Ohio can definitely compete.

What makes them boring? No big cities? No scene? No hipsters? A vast amount of strip malls and chain restaurants?
