best, now that I've written it.

Since this thread is so fun, I'm going to set up another thread of favorite reviews by OTHER reviewers. So, when y'all are done whoring your own reviews, start whoring for others over there.

And sluts are just aspiring whores. Which is worse than being a whore. At least whores follow through on their dreams and get real paid.

Sadly, one of my favorite reviews (by David) is gone.
(The Giving Tree)
I wish that it was stored away somewhere...
*sigh*

I miss that one, too! That was the beginning of my downward spiral into gr.
Favourite reviews by other people - I got tired waiting for some section on one's profile to be created by GR so I did this already -http://www.goodreads.com/story/show/2...

Jasmine, thank you much. It's good that Goodreads has so many helpful and coolaceous people who can cover for those of use who are comparatively clue-deficient.
My best review was for Flowers in the Attic, but like many delicious things, it's no longer extant. My most popular review was (far and away) my The Giving Tree review, which I never really loved. I wrote it (in January 2008) before I realized that a lot of people might in theory read my review. It was subsequently censored and deleted once by Goodreads. Several Goodreaders launched a campaign to have it reinstated, and it was, with an apology -- but then it was deleted by GR again! (Otis explained that it was deleted by an 'overzealous intern' who objected to all the obscenity.) Then I deleted my account and it was lost. But then someone had a copy of it and I reinstated it. But then I deleted my account again and it's gone. For good, probably. Goodbye, Giving Tree.

Thanks Nancy. I started to do a formal review, but thought it'd have toto be a thesis, so I just wrote down some general thoughts.
Hmmm. I'd have to say Kiss of Midnight. I'm new to GR (been a member less than a year) & even newer to writing reviews. This was the review that finally got me into my "groove." I established my personal style writing this review.
