Currently reading Before I Go To Sleep
and listening to 10th Anniversary
. Both are really good!! :)
In between The Grapes of Wrath which is a bit depressing at times I am reading some of the books from my Bookmark shelf which seems to have grown over the year as I have visited so many different places this year and bought more bookmarks!I am reading 'mushy' books to jolly me up on my long, cold night shifts! Tonight is number 3 in a row and I have to work an extra hour too! Will finish Summer on Blossom Street by Debbie Macomber tonight and start Knit One Pearl One by Gil McNeil
finished Dune,so now I will move back into Malazan world with I.C.Esslemont's books, new Erikson and then his funny short Malazan storiesmeanwhile reading Ancient warriors by M.Dougherty - damn good, like watching a well-made documentary on sth like Discovery or History channel, enough info in a memorably presented content
planninf on starting on Elite forces encyclopaedia shortly as well
just borrowed Hitler's Foreign Executioners, should be good and interesting info there
finishing up the last 100 or so pages of The Second Sex by Simone DeBeauvoir. Been reading this long book since September, and boy am I ready for it to be done! Not that the concept is bad, but the length and language is too long for me, even in a Psychology of Women course.
I am currently reading Thinner Than Skin by Uzma Aslam Khan. This is her fourth novel and its as good as the others if not better. I would recommend this to everyone who is interested in fiction with a solid background.

"I'd really like to read this one. How is it?"
Its gritty, raw, realistic, and for mature readers. Its very different from HP
Just finished quite a few over the storm, my page updates in real time so you can see what I have there if you want to! I am reading Eggs by Jerry Spinelli on an e-loan from my library on Kindle. It's an alright book, not all too thrilled with the other Spinelli books of which I enjoyed, but going into teaching I have been trying to get more into some children's literature/YA lit. I am also looking forward to starting to read One Good Dog which is one that a book club suggested.
I just finished Sweetly and now I am about 3/4 done with Cinder and I am absolutley loving it!! I don't know why I have waited this long to finally read it.

How are you liking The Book Thief?? I started it a while back and thought it was kind of slow paced... Let me know what you think of it!

Tori, I thought the same thing. I am listening to it as I travel to and from work via Audible. I think if I were reading it, I would not have labored thus far. I know it has amazing reviews so I am going to give it a chance.
I'm reading The Second Summoning. I like it, it's funny. I was reading it while waiting for my cycle class and laughing hysterically. Somebody two cycles down finnally demanded to know what I was reading.Ursula wrote: "I'm reading
"How do you like Vanish, Ursula? I read it maybe five years ago and enjoyed it.
I've just started reading 'The Seneca Scourge' - a medical thriller by Carrie Rubin.
Following Carrie's blog - as I have for some time now - I didn't need much persuading to delve into her writing style and the beginnings promise much. Knowing Carrie she'll make this a best-seller, so I'm getting in first!
I'm halfway through Dodger, by Terry Pratchett. If you like him or if you like Dickens or if you like English satire, you will probably like this book. Dodger
I'm currently reading
by Philip Roth. I read last week that he's done writing and I realized I had never read any of his novels before.I will have a review on my blog when I finish.
Marion
I'm currently reading The Lovely Bones
and I am loving it. Coming up to Christmas is seeing my spare time taken up by other things, but I will finish it this weekend hopefully.

Nicholas Sparks ALWAYS gets me bawling in his books!!
Have loved all of his I've read so far!
I am reading a very controversial and sensitive book called Aphrodisiac by Mercedes Keyes. She is an African American author who writes on interracial relationships. However, this isn't the controversy with this book. This book goes into very sensitive subject which many people may be uncomfortable with. I love authors who dare to push the envelope or write on subjects others are afraid to touch. I was recommended this book by my sister-in-law mother. And I recommend this book to those who are not shocked or offended easily.
The Fellowship of the Ring (The Lord of the Rings, #1)I've very nearly finished actually. Then I will be reading The Two Towers.

Is it good? I have those two books on my shelf and just haven't gotten around to reading them yet.

I have a mixed opinion of it really.
It is very good however I feel there is simply just too much information thrown at you at once.
For example in one sentence the name of a person, place and sword can be named and I end up being confused which is which!
Definitely give it a go though - I think it will be a book you either love or hate.
