Michele bookloverforever (lovebooks14) | 1970 comments there was a vietnamese restaurant right next to where I 1st lived in san francisco. we noticed disappearing pigeons and cats right away. never did eat there before the health dept. found the missing critters.

Cat's ears are quite a delicacy here. They eat ANYTHING.

Michele bookloverforever (lovebooks14) | 1970 comments my grandmother (we called her "memere"-french canadian for grandmother) always said hunger was the best cook. she was right. my memere and dad ate a lot of squirrel and pigeon during the depression. snake too.

Heh...My grandma lived in the country and she thought that rats could cure asthma. My mom used to have asthma. Boiled. Sandwich. Nuff said. *shivers*

Michele bookloverforever (lovebooks14) | 1970 comments My "memere" made her crepes with flour and water and tapped the maple tree outside her farmhouse for syrup. I make my crepes with eggs and milk thank you. although when I am dieting sometimes I make it with water.
