Thinking of reading The Body Finder - it's gotten some great reviews. Want to read it with me in August ~Sara~ ?
Vi, I would love to read it with you too! I mentioned Sara because we read a few books from the Random List challenge together. I'll PM her to see if she's interested and then we can set a date to start :)
Fran and Vi:I'd love to read it too, just let me know when. I just downloaded it so I'm ready whenever you are!
Fran, the beginning of August works for me. Hopefully that works for you too Vi? Would you guys prefer we PM comments or start a thread in the Dare You To Read section?
I finished Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier on 07.23.11. This book stands along side classics such as Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights. Definitely 5 stars!
I read Seduce Me at Sunrise. I love this series about the Hathaways! It mixes two of my favorit genres romance and period stories. I can't wait to read the rest of the series!
I finished Prince Caspian today. I'm glad for the push this challenge has given me to continue reading the Narnia Chronicles.
Hi Vi and ~Sara~,Would you guys like to start The Body Finder this weekend? Since the Genre Challenge starts tomorrow, and I'm using it for that, I figure we don't have to wait to start it until the 1st. If that doesn't work, we can hold off until the 1st. Let me know, excited to read it with you guys :)
Hey Fran, I'm ok anytime. Besides, I'm just starting at my list because I can't decide which book to pick up.

Let's start with The Body Finder- how about tomorrow or Monday to start and we'll check in on the thread- I made a Buddy Read thread in the Dare You To Read area.

If you decide on The Body Finder, there is a Buddy Read thread in the Dare You To Read area if you want to chat about it :)

Great!
I finished The Body Finder today (2 Aug 2011). It was a *** read for me. I liked the premise and some parts of the execution but I won't go rushing out to buy the sequel.
I also finished The Body Finder today, 8/2. 3* for me as well. Ditto what Vi said, there were some things I liked, such as her ability and how it was described. But the execution and the author's voice were not my favorite.
I read The Body Finder as well and I really liked it (8/4, 3.5 stars). I agree that there were parts of the book that weren't as well written, I got a little sick of reading the exact same things over and over about the relationship between the heroine and her best friend/boyfriend, but the body finding part of the story kept me up half the night to finish the book so that's always a good sign!
I picked to read Blue Bloods by Melissa de la Cruz (in place of Revelations), but I only made it 25% before I gave up on it. I just couldn't get interested in the plot.

I finished The Help by Kathryn Stockett this weekend and it was awesome! I wanted to read it really badly, because the movie trailer looks so good! Since we're short on extra $ for the next couple of months, it was nice to read the book to hold me over until the movie comes out on DVD. The characters were very in depth, the story was intriguing and it just pulled you in from the first page! Definately *****!
I read The Help. I finished this book a a few days before i saw the movie and quite liked it. Something that surprised me. It was interesting to see the perspective of the help. In some parts it was like reading a juicy gossip magazine. I just wanted to read more.
I finished From Dead to Worse today. Not my favorite so far, but its a decent installment to the Sookie Stackhouse books. I give it four stars.
I finished Dead Reckoning for From Dead to Worse on 09.01.11. Not one of my favorites, but I rated it 4 stars.
I finished The Iron King for The Iron Daughter on 9/7/11. Rated 3 stars and will continue the series - I want to see what happens w/ Meghan, Puck and Ash....

Finished Frostbite last night. I originally read it for list #48, but remembered that is is also on this list. It was a guick read. Fast-paced and exciting, with enough intrigue to make me want to continue with the series. I give it 4 stars.
