I think I'm going to read
since unfortunately this is the only Courtney Milan I currently have.
Update: Dukes Prefer Blondes #4 Dressmakers by Loretta ChaseThe heroine had been involved previously in two scandals that the heroines of books #1 and #2 had helped extricate her from and thus save her from ruin. Because of this I felt I already knew her as she had been such a likeable secondary character. The hero of #4 was a gentleman lawyer so that was unusual.

Random Book List Challenge #272I finished reading Secondhand Souls by Christopher Moore and found it mediocre. I enjoyed the first book in the series but the second book was just kind of blah to me. I like this author and will read more but some of his books are hit and miss...

On the subject of series, this is my third random book list challenge and many of the books suggested in the lists are several books into the series. Is it acceptable to substitute an earlier book from the same series? Thanks

UPDATE: Once Upon a Marquess by Courtney Milan #1 The Worth Saga 3.5 *My first Courtney Milan. This is the first book in the series. I felt it suffered as 1st books sometimes do from the "world building". The MC's were often lost in the background of setting characters and events for future books.

Random Book List Challenge #277I finished reading Hot Six by Janet Evanovich and it was a good comfort read! I need to get caught up with this series, I'm so behind! I like Stephanie Plum, she's a good character to get into when you're looking for something that's just pure brain candy!

LOL Never thought about it from that angle, but I agree. :D And you are not alone Ezi. I think everyone fucked up at least once in their life. (I know I did at least.) ;)

on 1st May. 4.5 starsI loved this book, it's one of those great realistic new adult contemporary romances. And it's about one of the toughest challenges at college: finding a balance between parties and studying. :) Also: no love triangle.

I'm glad you liked it. The author said fans are writing and pressuring her editor to change the book cover so they are working on it.
I like the Book cover but it is misleading as it suggests a love triangle. But I like it just fine

i just dont want a book cover with some dude showing his abs. Book covers have gotten so cliche these days : Tattooes, Bikes, Abs.
I liked that this one wasn't any of those, but I get that it is automatic turn off for readers who despise triangles

Yeah I am afraid it's going to finish with abs... :/ It would be cool if they would do something like girl sitting on a sofa (like now) with pile of books on one side and booze or something party-like on other...
