releases sometime in July of this year."Oops...sorry for the late reply...I made the change.
Random Book List Challenge #182I read Death Masks by Jim Butcher and gave it 5 stars! I am really liking this series, but I don't think I can listen to these books on audio. They throw too much information at me and I find that I keep missing stuff, so I may have to actually sit down and read them rather than listen. This story was excellent of course, but what I keep thinking while I read this book is that they should take this whole series and reverse all the genders. Harry should be a girl and Susan and Murphy should be guys. And she should be played by Jennifer Lawrence. I think she could play a female Harry Dresden, random thoughts but I would pay money to see that.
Read
last May 8 and loved it. It's been a while since I read a good PNR book and this book delivers all the requisite ingredients. 5 stars.
I read
for
by Thea Harrison, finished at May 7, 4*, it had a slower pace than the first two books but was very goodAlso, listened to the audiobook
for
by Faith Hunter, finished May 9, 4*, definately a series to continue.
Gea wrote: "I finished
and liked it - 4 stars"this was my least favorite in that series, but I enjoyed this dragon series
Gea wrote: "I liked this one more than the second one and I'm really looking forward to Djinn's book"WHAT? Tiago & Ninane's book was my favorite in the whole series. followed by the Harpy's book Aryal.
The Djinn's book was a very very close 3rd.
Gea wrote: "What can I say, I prefer a little bit of action and a lot of romance, not the other way around :D"snickers--then you got it all wrong:D
I finished
for
and gave it 3.75 stars. It was interesting but didn't have a real love angle which I was in the mood for. But it's interesting enough that I will continue the series

Fran wrote: "When you get a chance Yz, I think we need a different choice for Bend - thanks!"Thanks for the heads up. : )
I decided to just add an extra book and keep
on for those who might have a copy of it.
Random Book List Challenge #187I read Deadlocked by Charlaine Harris.
This book didn't move as fast as I had hoped for being the second to last book. I like how Sookie's love life is going ((view spoiler)) but I'm still not sure how the series is going to tie itself up. This book just seemed like another filler book that was about everyone in sookie's life and not really about her. I'm ready to read the last book and say farewell to the Sookie Stackhouse saga. I wish Charlaine would work on Harper Connelly, I really liked that series.

Forgot to post. I finished
last June 12. I thought it was your typical PNR but with new elements. Pretty fast-paced and quite entertaining. 4 stars.

I finished reading
today. I am going to rate it 3 stars. I thought it was OK. I am planning on reading the second book in the series.
Kay - I had that out of the library, but knew I wasn't going to be able to get to it, so I just returned it
i'm leaning towards Britton but need to find out if I can read it stand-alone or not - if not, i'll read the first book in the series ;)
I finished
and it was cute. I don't think it was the best book I ever read but it definitely kept my attention and I really enjoyed this coming of age story. I felt like there could have been a little more character development but I still really liked it. *3.5 STARS*
Random Book List Challenge #192I finished reading These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman. I gave it three stars because I felt like the first half of this book was a chore but then it got a lot better. The characters were alright, I wasn't really attached them to though. The love story wasn't believable to me either, I didn't think it was dramatic enough considering the circumstances they were in but maybe that's just me.
I read
by Kristen Ashley for this list. Despite some issues in the prose, I thoroughly enjoyed the story and the shenanigans of all the characters. 4 stars.
