I finished reading early morning yesterday. It is a beautiful, well-written story and I enjoyed it quite immensely. I did not connect with the characters as well as in but it is still an emotional read. 4 stars.

Random Book List #226

I finished Wallbanger by Alice Clayton and I gave it ****. The novel was really good until about half way through then it lost it's steam for me. It picked up again at the end, but it was still funny. I upgraded it a star for the snark. Hopefully the next novel in the series flows a bit better.

There was not one single redeeming quality to be shared between the two protagonists. I can't even say the writing helped make it better because it was poor development and poor characterization. For something so short, it was hard for me not to skim.

I finished reading Return to Me by Justina Chen and I gave it ****. It was ok, I really liked the scenery of Hawaii. It was a good coming of age story and I would definitely read another book by this author. It immediately had me looking for houses on zillow on the big island of Hawaii.

I finished Naughty King today 4/23. I agree with Ty that there really are no redeeming or likable characters in the story. It was just ok. I've read lots of better d*ck billionaire/secretary stories before. And the typos/grammar mistakes were annoying. 2.5*

I finished reading today. It took me a long time to finish reading it. It's a strange book for me, with a second person POV. I sort of predicted the ending, and the writing felt bizarre and strange. NOT A ROMANCE! 3 stars.

Random Book List #236

I finished reading Unblocked - Episode One by Marni Mann and I gave it five stars. This book was pretty steamy, alpha male meets uber professional and sparks fly. Plus it was super cheap on Amazon, so that was nice too. I picked up the second one to read later, not sure when the third one is coming out but there are supposed to be five total.

I read Unblocked - Episode One by Marni Mann for Unblocked - Episode Two. It was free and Suzanne liked it so I thought I would give it a try :)

Like Suzanne mentioned, it was steamy. More porn than plot but sometimes that's ok. It was a fast, entertaining read, and I liked that although there was a lot of steam, the H and h barely touched each other. 3.5*

I've read (for Insatiable #2) on 11.June.2015.
I'm giving it 2 stars only because I liked the heroine.
Hero was obnoxious man-whore and he bragged all the time. Even during sex he sometimes more talked how good he is at it then described. It reminded me of this scene from American Psyho.

I read for on June 12th. Like Dragana, I disliked the hero. But I did like the heroine, and the story was quick and mindless fun. I am going to read the sequel, hopefully in time to count for this list. 2.5*

I think the cover is so ridiculous, with him grabbing on to his junk. But that's pretty much how ridiculous the hero is.....just over the top self-centered and a bit misogynistic I think.
