I wonder if Ward cracks herself up while writing. I don't know how she couldn't. I don't plan on reading the other series by her Jaimie, so I am glad to hear you are not a fan.
have you seen pictures of her? she looks dead serious but I don't know how she could not laugh at herself.
I have the Fallen Angels series on my list, I'll read them some time this year because they are on a yearly challenge I'm doing. I heard that the romance in them is secondary.

Thank goodness I'm not the only one. I'm currently reading Z's book and sometimes I just have to stop and shake my head. All I can think is... really? I can't believe I'm reading this, but those brothers. WOW. They're great!!I have so many BDB questions but I'm afraid to ask them because I don't want to know the answers until it's time. I just have guesses about certain things to come in future books. It's fun to speculate. It's much better now that we get to see more characters.
P.S. Does anyone else just skip everything having to do with the lessers. I only read the lesser stuff when there is a vampire involved. Other than that I couldn't care less.
I skip almost all the lesser stuff Brittany! I feel bad for doing it but I just want to get on with the good stuff.

Oh good, I thought I might have been the only one. That makes me feel better.
I totally skim the lesser stuff. It's strange because in some books I prefer the action...in BDB I could care less about it and want to get right to the coupling (because after all, it's THAT kind of book, who are we kidding?)
Ah yes, the twin weights. I remember that. I came up wiht like 20 words in just Lover Avengesd that were cringe-worthy. I'll compile a list and share.
I skim the lesser stuff in a few books. Especially in the beginning, but in the later books I didn't... I won't say why, lol, I don't want to ruin anything. it just got more interesting.
*BDB SPOILER*I was quite suprised at the turn of events with Lash in Lover Mine. I skimmed too in the first few book. It does get more intersting further along in the books.
**BDB SPOILER**HAHA, I wasn't going to say Lash's name. But since you did first, thats exactly when I started really paying attention to the Lesser stuff.

Yeah... I didn't hear that. Right... Hopefully by the time I get around to whatever storyline that may be (and please don't tell me) then I will have forgotten this conversation. Don't worry I'll continue to avoid the BDB thread like the plague. At least now I have met Lash... that's progress.

@Catherine: Haha, that made me laugh out loud, it's hilarious. The only thing that got me interesting in Halo was the cover, but now even that's not enough to motivate me into reading it. XD
Man, I wanted to read that too. That's the one they made out of the movie with Zac Effron? Darn, oh well.
I won't rule it out. To be honest, I have so many books to read I'd probably get to it in like 5 years or so, lol.

The Breaking Dawn quote: "My brother, my son." I'm right there with you all. Ridiculous. But honestly, if I were to compile a list of all the cringe worthy lines from the Twilight series, it would be the size of a novel itself.
One that I always remember is the opening line from The Uglies : "The early summer sky was the color of cat vomit."

HA! The Uglies quote ! I actually have the book next to me and the other day, I opened it to read just the first lines and I was like O_o that's the first line ?! I decided not to read it right away then... At least, that's an original way to begin a book, um.I also just remembered something. Not a quote exactly, but an entire passage from The Time Traveler's Wife. So, Henry was having this weird dream where he was running on the beach and his members began to fall apart. His arms first, and then his penis falling in the bottom of his pants, pressed against his ankle. And he still kept running until he eventually fell on the sand and rolled and rolled and roooolled towards the waves like some tree trunk.
This was one of the most horrific and hilarious passages I've ever read and I couldn't stop laughing for at least half an hour, with tears and belly cramps and all.

nobody can write cheese like Ward. It is almost like she is so over the top in order for you to get like desensitized to it or something because broken down it is really reallly bad but when I read it I don't know it just kind of makes sense. But only really with BDB. I am trying to get into her other series and am not really a fan. I read the first one Covet? and it was just okay. now I have the second one, Crave? and I can't seem to get into it. I just want my brothers.
