Hi everybody, my name is Brea Salim and I actually just released my first book! 'Bright Eyes' is written in English and would love for all of you to check it out. 'Bright Eyes' is about my experience as the only Indonesian student at Phillips Exeter Academy, the boarding school of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and writer Dan Brown. It is available in Books and Beyond and Kinokuniya this week (in Jakarta) and it will be available in more stores throughout Indonesia with the coming weeks. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Bright... You can check out my book's Facebook page if you are interested!

Finished The Grass Crown, now currently reading Fortune's Favourites about the rise of Pompey Magnus, Julius Caesar and Crassus.
Almost finished with My Life Next Door.. Such a great contemporary! After that, going to take a break for a few days and then re-read The Fault in Our Stars in preparation for the movie next month (super duper excited for it!!)

I'm almost halfway through The Fiery Heart and so far so good! I love the dual POV thing. It's definitely entertaining.
currently reading
I expected a full of adventure book, but halfway and still haven't (fully) got it.
Finish
. Love it! I forget whose there that read this series. I want to discuss something, lol!Currently reading
for buddy read. Anyone had read this?
I finished Isambard Kingdom BrunelGarden Birds and Wildlife. Mike Toms and Paul Sterry Lion Country: From the IVT Series and MI6: Life and Death in the British Secret Service about a couple weeks ago. I am reading Prisoner of Tehran: One Woman's Story of Survival Inside a Torture Jail at the moment.
It's summer in Wales and I am not reading books often when the sun is shining.
I have several lingering in my mind. Have no idea which one to pick. However, I am currently reading The Mysterious Island by my favorite author, Jules Verne.
Soon after that, this book has given its appeal to me. I do expect it fascinates me.

However, I cannot find your facebook link.
i'm actually having a Mortal Instruments marathon right now before the last book of the series comes out. Anyone else? :D
Halfway through The Last Days of Old Beijing: Life in the Vanishing Backstreets of a City Transformed, a non-fiction book about life in hutong, Beijing. The cemetery of forgotten books series was rather disappointing, but since I already bought the third book I might as well swallow it.
I finished Prisoner of Tehran: One Woman's Story of Survival Inside a Torture Jail this morning and am reading An Artist of the Floating World (I am not sure whether I will like this book or not).

Looking For Alaska. Best John Green's book. Ever.

I'm currently reading The One by Kiera Cass. But it has been days since I last opened up that book. Not really feeling the hype, I suppose. I don't even know whether I will be continuing where I left off. I was last at the part where Maxon, America, and Aspen wanted to go to the rebels' region.
Anyone had read the book and think that there's more interesting things to come that I should totally read? Let me know :)
Kind of disappointed in The One. My OTP sinks. But the half end is good. xD
I am still reading--well, listening, to The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey. It's really a good audiobook, makes me love the book more than I already had.
Oh, and I recently finished City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare. Not satisfying as a final instalment for six exhausting book of saga. But sure has one pretty hella long confusing epilogue.

I'm reading Don't Even Think About It. It's about a group of people that could hear everyone's thoughts after got a flu shot. It's contemporary, has a little bit of paranormal and fantasy which I'm not complaining about. It's different from any contemporary that I've read (which is not that many) in a good way btw. It has an interesting premise and I'm loving it so far. Does anyone have any recommendation that I could put in my June TBR?:)

the book thief is good. the movie is great, too.

Yes, it's based on that book.
Yes, it's based on that book.
Started reading To All the Boys I've Loved Before.. excited to read this as the first book of this month :)

If you really don't mind spoilers, you can check my review. Nothing really interesting happened after that scene where you left it, but it's just my opinion. You'll probably like it, since it's actually getting a bit better (that is, until the events near the ending).
I'm currently reading
, which is the second of the series. Problem is, I dislike the protagonist. :(
I'm currently reading The Lost Hero,The Godfather, and Why Men Love Bitches: From Doormat to Dreamgirl - A Woman's Guide to Holding Her Own in a RelationshipHonestly, I may not continue the last two books until I finished all Heroes of Olympus saga.
i'm finished read with The earth of mankind by Pramoedya Ananta Toer (Bumi Manusia in english version).. currently hmm.. iam reading The Arabian Nights: Tales from a Thousand and One Nights and also Sarwo Edhie dan Misteri 1965 :3
Finished with The Yellow Birds and Wolf Totem. Heavy and depressing reads, but very much worth it.I'm going to read Sea of Poppies and The Prisoner of Heaven next.

There's just so many books i want to read that i think it's impossible to give space for books i lost interest at.
I just finished
and
I love the first book, but a bit disappointed at the latter. I'm now in a mood for something fun and action packed, so i think i'll be reading
soon. They say it's a great conclusion to the series, so i'm really excited :)
Currently around 20% of
Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children
This book is about some children with special powers, I think. About to find out.
currently reading
it's kind of fantasy children book (with magic and all). I like the Africa vibe so far. Hope the story will become more interesting (as I've only read the opening so far).
I've been so busy with work that I've hardly had any time to read.
I am in the middle Damn Good Advice (For People with Talent!): How To Unleash Your Creative Potential by America's Master Communicator, George Lois and Dreams of Gods & Monsters by Laini Taylor. I have no idea when I will finish them. *sigh

I have finishedPrisoner of Tehran: One Woman's Story of Survival Inside a Torture Jail and Girl With a Pearl Earring.I have been trying to finish reading An Artist of the Floating World but it seems impossible !! One of books that I read really slow.
I am on track of reading challenge 2014 to read 60 books.
I still cannot cope to read An Artist of the Floating World and I have decided to start reading Sukarno my friendsince the next Indonesia president election is coming soon. The right time to read about The First Indonesian President !
Hey there, I am currently reading the classics. It's tough and sometimes can get annoying, but I enjoy it. I am currently reading Ulysses by James Joyce. Very challenging but thoughtful.
Finished with Wonder, an absolutely Wonder-full book!Moving on to Packing for Mars: The Curious Science of Life in the Void, a very curious book indeed! So far I really enjoy the book. Not a heavy brain-wrecking science book, but more of a humorous light-reading about quirks of science.
i am starting on It's Not Summer Without You by Jenny Han because i'm really in the mood for summer-y and light reading :D
Right now I'm in the middle of reading (and loving) Scarlet by Marissa Meyer. I was never interested in checking the series out and just had the heart to do so a few days ago, so I'm very far behind seeing that most people had already finished Cress.
But it's better late than never, right?
currently reading this is where i leave you by jonathan tropper. suprisingly hilarious! this book is also adapted into a movie and will be out next september. starring jason bateman and... TINA FEY! :))

Reading River of Smoke, the sequel to Sea of Poppies, that I really really looked forward to!Then there's another non-fiction book, Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers, by the surprisingly absolutely humorous Mary Roach.
Now read Dark Places by Gillian Flynn. I'm supporting #readwomen2014 campaign, so I'll buy and read women writer only along this year.
Trying to finish Her Fearful Symmetry which is quite boring.
Next reading will be either The Goldfinch or A Visit from the Goon Squad
