Most things are logical about relegion... only the begining isn't.

Facts are logical. Proof is logical. Science is logical. Scientific facts are logical. Relegions, like the ones you and I believe in, are not.
I think they are... except the begining, as I said.
I disagree. Logic is, as I explained, scientific facts. Relegion and science? Not a good cocktail.

The roman catholic church only "forgave" galileo for being right in the last 25 yrs. religion and science rarely agree although St.Thomas Aquinas certainly tried.
How can religion be logical if it can't be proven as facts?
rowan, read st. thomas aquinas. Basically, he believed that all life was a miracle and proved the existance of god. I believe that God created life but used evolution to do so. Belief in god is a belief in the unprovable. It's why they call it a leap of faith. It's a belief in the unseen, the ultimate mystery, the unknowable. The more I learn about science the more I believe in God. I do not believe it was all an accident.
Err, yeah there is facts. And logic isn't just facts... logic is also common sense.
Relegion is not a fact. It's a belief. Now excuse me, I have HW to do :)
Actually there are not really facts... It's just your faith. Which, it isn't a bad thing to have faith in something and believe in whatever you so choose. But, its definitely not logical.

Religion is not common sense! My common sense doesn't tell me to be religious. My common sense doesn't tell me that there is a God. My common sense tells me that a God is a ridiculous idea. My common sense tells me to not put all things in faith.Your common sense is a lot different, from not just mine, but a lot of people's.
Well a lot of people's common sense says that it's common sense that God exists. It's just the differnce of minds.
That's sort of what I'm trying to say. But common sense isn't really proof of anything.

Yeah! Religion doesn't even NEED proof. If you have faith then everything is cool. It's not a bad thing that religion isn't logical.

All religions can't be logical. If you religion is logical, then one isn't. Your religion isn't the only right one, Christianity isn't the only right one. Religion can't be logical because there is no proof, sorry.
There's common sense and common sense is enough logic. And common sense can differ frum indivisual to indivisual so a person might think Christianity is logic, a person mite think Islam is common sense or a person might think no relegion is common sense. But all three, for all three persons, is logic.

I didn't mean your arguement as in your's Amina... I was just talking about the general argument between you two.

No one knows. If we did we would have one less thing to worry about. People make guesses such as paradise and reincarnation. But no one knows till they've tried it, and then they are no longer alive to come back and tell us how it is.
Might as well be good and pray and hope instead of worry about what'll happen then, right?
