I may try the series again in the future. sometimes the first book in a series may be bad but the following books better. I'm hoping that's the case with this series.

Finished The Stupidest Angel: A Heartwarming Tale of Christmas Terror. Now it's a toss up between Succubus on Top and Blood Ties (Blood, #3)....can't decide.

I have finished Book of Shadows a good book for all although teenage girls might prefer it, 3stars.
The Summoning I enjoyed this book, 5stars.

I have finished The Historian There are some brilliant moments, the entombment of Rossi and Dracula is eerie, but the ending is abrupt and too clean Though the book has a tendency to ramble, Elizabeth Kostova melds history and myth in rare style. 3 Stars
The Awakening The Awakening is a fairly quick read, This book carries on Chloes journey of discovering her self and her new friends. This is a great story and I am looking foward to the next book. 4.5 stars
The Graveyard Book The Graveyard Book is unusual and strange, and I absolutely loved it. Once I started reading it, I couldn't stop. great read for children and adults alike. 4 stars

I love the Meredith Gentry series I have the last two books yet to read.

I have finished Heart-Shaped Box Hill's ideas and style are not particularly original, and in terms of excitement the book rarely rises above or falls below 'readable'. 2 stars
Confessions of an Ugly StepsisterWhilst I was intrigued by the concept of the book, I found the book itself slightly slow. 3 stars
I have started Mary Queen of Scots and the Murder of Lord Darnley and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

While the character don't feel very unique to me, the paranormal part is very different but it still didn't surprise or shock me like I thought it should have, Maybe there's something coming up that I haven't gotten to yet...I hope so.
