SOLVED. Woman gets slowly killed by bug on pillow [s]

I am not sure if this is a book or a short story, I read it about 15 years ago, but I know it was written before then, it could be a south american writer.
The people who love this young woman, take care of her well and don't understand why she is sick, and discover the huge bug only after the woman dies.
