David Estes (davidestesbooks) | 99 comments I'm now 400 pages into Graceling and the last 100 pages I was holding my breath and I was shivering with emotion. The cold of Katsa taking Bitterblue through the mountain pass came straight through the pages to me. Incredible!!

Oh and I just bought The Book Thief for me and To Kill a Mockingbird for my wife :)

:) yay! Isn't it amazing?! Katsa rocks, I love her! She is by far one of my favorite heroines.

Bethany | 578 comments I'm only about 20 pages into Cinder. Couldn't keep my eyes open last night, lol. But, I'm already loving it. I really like Cinder's character and what I've seen of the world was pretty cool too. I have a gooood feeling about this book :)

Heidi Cinder was awesome too so either way you are good David. The Book Thief takes some getting into before you are invested IMO so give it time.

Shoot! I had a chance to buy The Messenger really cheap at a used bookstore but I passed as I hadn't read anything by him :) Eek I'll have to go back and see if it's still there!!

I Am the Messenger was great (weird ending but great) - excellent on audiobook as well (just as Book Thief was).

Oh good! I'll be able to relate. I'm an 80's child, also. I want to get the adult novel that follows this prequel but I've heard it's a waste of time.

Scorch Trials was pretty good but the third book, The Death Cure, was incredible. Enjoy the rest of the series :)

I got 68 new books today. i used to work at Amazon and went up to their free book room with an old coworker. Among my finds are Requiem (Delirium, #3) by Lauren Oliver , The Turning by Francine Prose , Everbound (Everneath, #2) by Brodi Ashton , Breathe (Breathe, #1) by Sarah Crossan , MILA 2.0 (Untitled, #1) by Debra Driza , Mind Games (Mind Games, #1) by Kiersten White , and Unravel Me (Shatter Me, #2) by Tahereh Mafi . Those are just some of the highlights- every single one that I got is awesome and was on my wishlist. I actually cried from joy today!!!
