I had ordered

Just received the following from Amazon:Me and My Ghoulfriends by Rose Pressey.
Sounds like it's going to be a fun read!
***SPOILER ALERT****So I got Dead Reckoning in the mail bright and early on Tuesday, read it cover to cover in a day or so and have been processing. I know it's not really young adult but if anyone else has read it I would love to get your thoughts.
I can't help but feel that Charlaine Harris is leading up to Sookie ending up with Sam. The last few books Sookie has just been so fed up with the politics of the Supes and it has come between her and Eric. I've thought all along since book 4 that Sookie would end up with Eric, but recently they don't seem to be having much fun together. I like Sam, but just in a platonic friend kind of way. i can't help but think as a reader I would be disappointed if Sookie walks away from Eric (and from the Supes in general for that matter) Something major has to happen though for their relationship to recover.
Also, what is up with the fairy sub-plot? I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop with that situation. It's got to be something with the Cluviel Dor? I wondered as soon as it was introduced if Sookie is going to ultimately wish away Eric's Vampireness so they can just be together? Thoughts?
*** SPOILER ALERT***
I just got
. That's probably the last time I'll do Walmart site to store and just pay the extra few dollars in shipping. Every time I do something site to store it's always delayed!

Even though it has "spoiler alert" all over it, I couldn't look away! :) I can't wait to read Dead Reckoning...I'm 19th on the hold list at the library though so it'll be awhile
Catie wrote: "Haha, me too...except I think that I am like #38!!"38! Wow! When I saw it was on order and placed my hold I told my friend and she said "Yah, I know. I already did it, I'm like 7 or something." I was was like "Ugh! Why didn't you tell me?"

I also can't wait to read it. I love Eric, so much. He's my favorite, but I've always thought she should end up with Sam in the end. Something about them just seemed solid and she could have a real future and family with him.
I've heard rumors that we have yet to meet the Man that is supposed to be Sookie's Happily Ever After. And I guess Harris has said that Sookie was never meant to be with Eric forever.
As much as I love them together, I can see why. With Sookie not wanting to be a vamp (thank goodness!) they don't have much of a future.

Ooh! I hadn't heard the rumor about not having met the Man Sookie ends up with. That's intriguing. I wonder if he will have some kind of fairy connection... there have been little hints in the recent books about those with fae blood needing to be close to others of their own kind.
I guess what has been driving me crazy is that deep down i know she's not going to end up with Eric, and as much as I like Sam I just don't think he's for her... I'll just have to wait and see... how long till the next book comes out ? ;)

Well I think book 10 came out in June last year, so unfortunately I'm guessing 11-12 months... a long time. I can't wait to order the new book and read it. I still don't have it.

Came back from the library today with:
Am quite relieved, having been starved of books for nearly a week! D:

yay for
. I love the writing in that book so much.
I broke down and bought
for Nook, sat and read the thing striaght through. It is a short but very thought provoking read. I know that the second book will be better because the first did such a good job at setting the scene for the next.
I worked the Scholastic Warehouse Book sale tonight for 3 hours and got $60 in free books! I picked up
and
. The best part is that I'm working two more nights this week so I still have $120 left to spend!

I tried to pick books that I remembered people on here liked. :) I'm glad to know I got some good ones!

It certainly is in this group! There are a lot of Bloody Jack fans here, which is why I just bought the first one myself. Haven't read it yet, but looking forward to it :)
Brandi I'm so jealous of you! How fun :)I picked up
and
at the library sale shelf :) I have the first 2 in each series so it was nice to get the 3rd in each to round it out!
I bought
for my kindle! I love the instant gratification of downloading books to my kindle. No more running to the store or library looking for books, especially when I want to read the sequel to a good book right away!
I was finally able to buy
at the bookstore, now I just need to wait for
to arrive... It would have been a lot easier if these books were available on kindle!
