cant wait to read the 3 rd book of the Pretty Little Liars!"I hope you like Sweep. It's one of my personal favorites. it's a great growing up and coming into yourself story. :)
i just got a signed arc of
, a signed copy of
, and a copy of
that i won on beth revis's blog. i'm a happy, happy girl this week. 8D
I bought Where I Belong, Entwined, and Wither.
Entwined was basically an impulse buy (I shouldn't do that). Out of this group I'll most likely read Where I Belong first, since I bought because an author event at my bookstore and it's on 4/6.
I read Entwined as an ARC and can't say you'd waste your time reading it - it was a great first novel! And it had a gorgeous cover!
The city next to where I live has there own library system, and they were having their semi annual Friends of the Library sale. I stopped going to our county one because the books were so old and mostly just romance, but I thought I'd check this one out since it's a different system. I am so glad I did. I got:
all for only 6 bucks. And all most all of the books look brand new. I was so excited. I will definitely be going back next time they have their sale!!

I am reading the Sweep series with Book of Shadows & The Coven, I am really enjoying it. When I began I thought the writing style may have been too young but as I read on it seemed to get stronger and I love how descriptive the words are.A really lovely read, I have book and one and two together as I found it at the library, I am hoping I can get the next ones! ;)

I've just ordered 'I am the Messenger' by Markus Zusak and 'Fleshmarket' by Nicola Morgan.I'm also staring so intently at 'Please Ignore Vera Dietz' by A. S King that I believe my laptop will get fed-up of that window being open and just add it to my basket for me.
My postman is going to love me.
Whoops.
These just arrived in the post, yay! I've been starved of books for a week, so I'm ridiculously excited.
I've heard a lot of praise for it from you guys, but couldn't get hold of it here - so I finally gave in and ordered it from the US! Enjoying it so far :)
Agreed, Second Helpings is Awesome but I loved the whole series - even the ones where I wanted Jessica to get a grip.

I just bought
against my better judgement and picked up
and
at the library.I also got
in audio book. I've never gotten an audio book before but I'll be driving 10 hours to my hometown and I thought it would be a good time to try one.
I love audiobooks Julie - I hope that is a good one. Why was Something Borrowed against your better judgement??
I wish I would've thought of the audiobooks before, they didn't have many choices at the branch of the library I go to and I would've liked to have a couple more. Well, not necessarily against my better judgement because it seems really cute, I guess I should've said that I shouldn't be buying anything right now :)

Does your library have Overdrive or Netlibrary? I get most of mine that way now. Oh I got you about the buying thing! Been there, done that :)
Julie wrote: "Heidi- I checked and they have Overdrive. Do you have any recommendations for books?"Crank by Ellen Hopkins was good in audio. The book is just fantastic so that may be why. Glass was also available on my Overdrive library. I have listened to a few already and I just got my library card this year. Saves money and it is nice to relax and be read to.
I am currently reading:
. I am loving it so far. :)
Went to the thrift store today and got some books:
Some of those will be great summer reads. I am happy to have all of them. Only 1 dollar for most and 2 for A Walk to Remember and The Revenge of the Shadow King.
Julie wrote: "Heidi- I checked and they have Overdrive. Do you have any recommendations for books?"Oh my! I love audio so I have a ton. What types of books do you like? I see in your tbr pile you have
Delirium - I know most Overdrive's have that. I also know most Overdrive's have the Bloody Jack series Bloody Jack: Being an Account of the Curious Adventures of Mary "Jacky" Faber, Ship's Boy, which is one of my favorite's on audio. I highly recommend The Help or The Book Thief OR if you want light or fun the Georgia Nicholson series Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging or any book by Sarah Addison Allen.
Awesomevegan - You got some GREAT books! The Sisterhood books are some of my all time favorites, Nicholas Sparks is my favorite author, and Tuck Everlasting is soooo good!
I have just picked up
, cant wait to read it. Love the first two!!! I am addicted to this series... lol ;)
Thanks everyone for the audiobook recommendations! I picked up
at another branch of the library on audiobook, I'll try these 2 and see what I think. I like that they are on CD since my FM tuner thingy for my IPOD doesn't work very well. I also picked up
and
And even though I was just saying yesterday that I didn't need to buy anything my friend and I went to a Borders that is closing and everything was 80% off! So I got all these for $20!
Just collected
and
from the library; the first purely to get some closure in this increasingly irritating series, and the second because it looked interesting - a modernised Jane Eyre, I think. Looking forward to that one :)
I got some books in the mail to review
looks sort of scary..lol.
(I couldn't find my book covers they are new redone covers for the new rerelease of these books.

I didn't plan on getting it today but my book buying compulsion took over lol and I just had to take advantage of the pricecut on it. I just started this series (I'm on City of Bones) so it's gonna be a while till I get to read mine but I'm super excited, I'm loving this series so far.
okay so I went to the library's weekend sale yesterday and got
and I got about 10 Baby Sitters Little Sister books, I'm trying to complete my collection. I also got a bag of "mystery/misc" YA books age 7-12 for $2. Altogether I paid 20.00!
Just bought
and
I actually for once bought them at Target. It killed me to spend so much, but it was nice to have instant gratification for once.
I pre-ordered Mr. Darcy's Undoing.. won't be out until Oct. 1st, so I have a while to wait, but looks like a good story. Actually, quite a few of that author's books look interesting, so I may add more of those to my list ;)
