AFTER TWO MONTHS... CAPTURE THE FLAG IS FINALLY COMMENCING.
Both teams start on opposite sides of the Forest. Red is west of the creek and Blue is east. If a person crosses into the other team's territory, they can be taken prisoner if fought and beaten. Only one person may guard the flag and must keep ten meters from it at all times. Any additional questions will be answered between parentheses ((<-->)).
ON YOUR MARKS... GET SET...DESTROY! GO!"

ON YOUR MARKS... GET SET...
Standing at the top of Zeus' Fist in the farthest point of the Blue Team's territory, the rippling blue flag set atop the pole and clenched in his own fist, Ajax Gremm surveyed the campers gathered round. "Listen up," he yelled out over the talking and clamour of the weapons.

Diona stood, waiting for commands. Her hands twitched with excitement at her sides as she checked her gear. Her breast plate, write and shin guards were secure. She latched her helmet on and checked her sneakers. She checked the daggers in her belt, as well as the scythe in her sheath. She mentally checked, flexing her wrist, watching a small grape vine grow from the underbrush and checked off her powers too.
((I blame Barnes & Nobles. :3))
Hayley stopped playing with her bow, looking up as it twanged sharply before the noise of the group died down, gazing expectantly up at the captain.

Rhys by his siblings, dressed in full-on armor. Longsword resting in its sheath, and his hands casually in his pockets, he glanced around at his teammates.
Elisa stood not afar from Hayley, tucking her newly-sharpened arrows in the quiver. Her hair was pinned back in a bun.
"All right. Listen. We're going on the offensive, our players are more powerful. Archers, we need you on the front. Ares, you follow with anyone else who's decent with a blade. Then Nike and A sqaured. Infiltrate the territory. Those of you who have talents with nature, scatter yourselves out from behind. I'm going for the flag. Questions?"
Myra stepped forward, cerulean blue plume on her helmet matching the ones that stuck out from her quiver. A slender belt hung from her hips and on it were the customary five daggers. "Are we going to have to climb anything, the archers?" Her voice was calm but only those that knew her well would see the terror in her eyes.
Ajax eyed the girl with a small chuckle. "Not you, Myra, not if you can't do it. But it would be nice."
"No problem," Myra said calmly, stepping back.

Ajax looked at Ivan. "Poseidon, position yourselves in front of the creek and douse anyone who comes too close with tidal waves."
Ivan nodded, content with his job. "Alright."
Caleb lingered behind his siblings, waiting for everyone to fan out. He fingered his bow, a bit anxious.

((I'M SO SORRY. >,< I hate my brother for taking his laptop.))
Hayley glanced curiously up at Myra, standing little ways behind her with the rest of the archers. She was sure to be in the trees, deafening people with her sonic arrows.

Noel walked up behind Rhys and latched onto her brother's arm, gazing out into the forest with wide eyes and fingering the bo slung over her back.
Elisa swung up onto a tree, hidden in the camo of her outfit. She had not hunger for up-hand battle but had her dagger ready in case.
Diona frowned. "Back?" She muttered to herself. She shrugged, and headed back figuring she'd get action one way or another.
Adrian frowned, taking out a sword.

Rhys rested his hand on his sister's shoulder, saying nothing. He simply gave her a small nod, and followed her gaze into the forest. He winced internally, arm still paining him slightly.
"Great! Archers, position yourselves. Ares, I want you in a solid line, stretching across the territory. Encircle them, infiltrate it. I'm coming with you. As for defending the flag, Olive, it's yours."
With an excited grin Ajax leapt from the rock. "Onward ho!" he yelled, a little mockingly, raising his scythe and leading the would-be warriors forward.
Andromeda ran forward with the rest of her cabin, feeling naked without the swords or daggers that the others held. Whatever. I'm just as good without.
Myra was in front, running smoothly and easily. She came to a stop in the front, right in front of an oak tree that would be perfect for scoring arrow after arrow, poisoned with a faint mix of rash-producing plants, on the enemy, but the old fear clogged up her throat and she merely stood motionless.

Olive, startled at the words nodded, dashing silently to the flag. She circled it, eyes narrowed and senses heightened with determination.
Diona frowned, rolling her eyes and dashing forward into battle. She was bloodlust.
Elisa carefully positioned herself, eyes narrowed like a hawk.

Lucas ran alongside his cabinmates, spear gripped firmly in his hand, glancing down at Andromeda. "Good luck, blondie," he said, voice holding no sarcasm no taunt, but expectance.
"Diona, in the back with the other nature manipulators," Ajax called to her, eyes narrowing into dark slits.
Caspar saw Myra struggling with an internal decision and strolled over. "Climb the godsdamned tree, Myr," he said, arching an eyebrow at her. "We need you up there."
Go away, you idiot, Myra thought irritably: panic started closing around her and she shook her head like she wanted to flick it off. "Go away, Caspar, I'll climb it," she muttered. With a shrug Caspar jogged off.

((So now teams cross over on boundaries?))
Adrian cracked his neck, lingering in the shadows expectantly for his Red Team victim.

"I'll climb it," Hayley declared after Caspar had left, nimbly scooting up the tree without hesitation, crouched in the shadows of the foliage.
Caleb pulled an arrow from his quiver, preparing himself against whoever was sure to come. He took aim.
Rhys found himself split away from his siblings as he followed around the back of the others, pulling one hand out of his pockets, preparing the magic he had in store.
Ivan stood by the creek, looking like a complete child as he cocked his head slightly, waiting.

Diona stamped her foot, but did as she was told. She cast herself into the shadows, wondering why Caspar got to be upfront. A vine sprouted from a treetop, and Diona clung to it, swinging herself up into it.
Nat regained position by Ivan's side. "Hello brother. Are you ready to whoop some major behind?" She said, almost darkly.

Nat twitched her hand, and a block of ice formed instantaneously formed but spontaneously combursted before you could say 'yes'.
Nat grinned, she did feel better. "Kay so when they come, make a wall of water. Then right before they jump through turn it to ice!" She giddily planned.
"Or freeze them while they're jumping through," Ivan said innocently, looking up at Nat. "That'd be fun."
Olive didn't let her guard down, just because she couldn't see them didn't mean they weren't there she kept reminding herself. Sword position at an expertise arrow, adrenaline pumping she waited for a worthy challenger able to get past the water kids, warriors, and mother nature.

"You too, Princess," Andromeda muttered, pushing blonde hair from her face.
Meanwhile Myra was climbing a tree that was shorter than the first oak, shinnying up it with surprising grace for one so terrified of heights. She appeared again through the foliage at the top, visible only by the bright blue feathers, like some brilliant bird of paradise. "You're going down, red team," she muttered in French, stretching her bow and looking down at the approaching wave of warriors. She was trembling.

Nat smiled at Ivan, and then nodded to Maren. "So Maren, try to focus your energy to control the water okay?" She started and explained the plan to her.
Adrian grinned. "Well, I know you're afraid of heights so I was expecting you to do something more landed." He said, shrugging and jumping down from the height landing skillfully before she could reply.

"Here they come," Hayley muttered, getting a glimpse of red in the not so far distance, a wicked grin stretch across her face.
"Ready to kick some @ss?" Lucas asked, a jokeful yet determined grin on his face, eyes flashing aggressively.

Nat matched her grin, but then hesitated thinking of Ediwn. Trying to push the thoughts out of her head she scanned the forest.

Adrian grinned. "Well, I know you're af..."
"I'm best at this," Myra cried out after him, her voice desperate. Shit shit shit shit shit.
