For now, Airlia was safe. But Rose's interference was dangerously toeing that line. Even now, tiny sparks flew off his body and threatened harm.
But that went to Hades in a handbasket. Airlia fell and so did Deon's control.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" He roared. The sky blew with a fearsome explosion. The whirlwinds and thunderstorms came alive on their own. Monsters, in fact, in their own right.
Deon would have shouted Get out of their way but his concern was for Airlia alone. There was no holding back now.
A whip of lightning struck Diona without regard to her well-being. To those long time campers (least 8-10 years), they'd recall how massively damaging and dangerous Deon could be when out of control. A part of the forest still was being replanted from that mishap.
The flag game was forgotten. His bloodstained hand cradled Airlia's cheek as he clutched her against his body.
Olive nodded. "Well I'm sorry, but that's in the Kitchens. I'm sure the Harpies can fix you a nice cup of Earl Grey if you ask." Olive said, all seriousness in her voice.
"That would be lovely, but I'm afraid I'm a tad busy at the moment," Holly said with mockingly sincere regret, stepping forward.
Diona fell out of the tree, unconcious. Her body was mangaled an bloody, her hemet was astrewn over ot the side. Her face was peaceful and she looked like a fallen angel. Her breathing was shaky, extremely so. Blood continued to seep from her wound, and her limbs were twisted in unnatural positions.
Elisa was outraged. She didn't care about the winds, she let arrows fly. Her rage fuled her accuracy and she was sure not to hit anyone but Deon. She wished someone was there to help. Anyone, Hayley, Caspar, anyone.

Olive nodded. "Oh so you're the infamous Holly, traitor of love and slut of the beings." She said, pleasantly smiling. She was battle ready, and eyed the girl curiously.
((O.... kay...?))
Caspar lunged into the battle; a satyr had informed him of his sister's fallen position and he sprinted towards Diona, scooping her body up gently.
"Elisa, I'm sorry, but I have to get her to safety," Caspar yelled over the thunderous winds and lightning. "I'll be back."
Hail pelted his face painfully and Caspar bent over Diona, running towards no-man's land.

Elisa nodded. "Okay!" She shouted, cracking her neck. She began to h um in efforts to tame the savage storm.
((Thunder and ligh--Oh, shite. o.o))
"I am most certainly not a slut and you have no idea who I am," Holly growled, she was more than battle ready, she was ready to tear this girl's head off. It had gotten personal now.

Ragged and not aware of his very own Zeusian monsters invading his miniscule safety with Airlia, he gently shook her. Why does she feel like a feather? Why doesn't she wake up? "Airie?" he called, weak and tiny as a kitten who lost his mother. "Airie?"
One of his whirlwinds approached and cut into his skin. If he remained with Airlia at this position, his arm likely would break.
Olive laughed. "Do you know who I am? Or more importantly, do you know who my father is?" She replied menacingly.
Jaidon's spell broke, for Airlia was no longer awake to fuel it. He twisted his charm bracelet in an eccentric pattern and it turned into a sword, slicing through the bounds.

"You're father could be Zeus for all I care," Holly said, the loud rumble of thunder coming from overhead as she spoke. She glanced up, but turned her murderous gaze immediately back to Olive.
Olive tilted her head, shaking it. "No..." She said. "Guess again. I'll give you a hint. My father does not sit on Olympus. He protects it."
Tanja wrote: "Fortune smiled on the Zeus kid. The storms and winds at these speeds do one thing to protect Deon -- arrows fly away and smack against the trees. In this weather, it would be ridiculous to believe ..."
"No," came the soft voice of Airlia Colomba. "Put me down, Deon. Leave it."
For although the pain in her shoulders, arm, and back was all-too consuming, one thing had been presentm only one fear: Deon's powers coming to such a point where he couldn't control them anymore. All she wanted to do now was embrace him, but the excruciating pain didn't let her. She could only loll in his arms and hope that he'd give up for his own good.
This is why I fell in love with him all those years ago.
Then she was swallowed by the dull roar of pain again.

"I don't think you heard me," Holly pressed, walking casually forward. But there was nothing casual about the deadly glint in her eye, or the blade of her sword. "I don't give a damn." If Olive wanted to call her slut, so be it. But her father wouldn't get an ounce of respect from her.

Tenderly as placing a newborn on a cotton cloud of blankets, he settled her against his side. The whirlwind could consume his entire right arm and he'd die relieved.
She's safe. Thank the gods.
Adrenaline wiped out of his system and the pain consumed. Blackness covered his sight. Whispering, he prayed to his father, "Please. Help me swallow the storms. Please."
If they kept up, either the entire area would be demolished or Deon was prone to burnout for days.
"Yeah...well let's put it this way. He's the unconquerable. I'm his daughter, and that's not the only reason Ajax picked me to guard the flag." She whispered. She was lying, but she was being seductive to distract Holly.
Holly wasn't buying it. Was distracted her more, though, was the burning itching sensation. It was overwhelming, and only her pride and determination to not pass out kept her upright. "Again, I don't give a damn," she growled again, looking at Olive as if she was daft. "Now fight me or step aside so I can capture the flag."
Caspar ran back to Elisa after depositing Diona at the Infirmary and making sure she'd be fine.
"Elisa, I'm--"
Slanted green eyes narrowed at the sight. Deon, the Zeus boy-- his friend-- was almost to the point of collapsing, Airlia from the Eros cabin at his side.
"You don't need help here," Caspar said, pity showing plainly in his features.
He stepped forward in the whirlwind of lightning, hail, and the thunder that rang painfully in his ears, and pressed a hand to Deon's temple, posing all the effects of wine on him so it dulled the pain the boy was probably feeling. He strengthened his magic until Deon could have passed out-- but not before a lightning bolt zapped him.
Caspar stumbled, absolutely shocked, dark hair standing on end, clothes scorched.

Currents of wine worked its way into his bloodstream. Senses slowed accompanied by his heartbeat sluggishly admitting defeat.
Sorry, Holly, I couldn't...
Release.
Sam. Sorry.
Finally.
Airie, I...
White lightning scourge through Deon's body then exploded across the field. Its brilliance could blind even the strongest of people if they had looked directly.
The boy fell harder than recently chopped down oak. Oblivion welcomed him. And chances are based on history, Deon wasn't going to wake from this coma anytime soon.

"Now, why would I do that? Now I think you're missing the point, I'm guardian of the flag. Appointed by your sweetheart. So, I'll make you a bet. You win, you get the flag and Ajax. I win I keep the flag and Ajax." She said, flicking her sword.

((Ajax: ...........Do I even get a say in this? -.-))
And as if being electrocuted wasn't enough, Caspar was blinded as well, ragged cry burning from his throat.
"Shit!"

((Ajax: *scoff* She knows I've been in love with her for five freakin years. You're no Eros girl.
Airlia: o.O))
Airlia: o.O))
Holly laughed, a metallic, cynical laugh. Now more than ever did she want to show this girl some manners. "You want a bet? Go somewhere else, chick, I'm not dealing with your crap. Fight me or move, simple."
"With all this talk, Olive, I'd say you were scared of losing," Holly challenged, twirling her sword in a menacing flash of silver just to show her how skilled she was. I've been here since I was eleven, I think I know what I'm doing.
"Thank you, Captain Obvious," Holly said, rolling her eyes. "Keep talking, little coward, that won't save you from a good @ss whooping," she growled, eyes narrowed as she calculated Olive's weapon, her armour, her build, looking for weak spots.
*DOMO Kat* wrote: "Olive tilted her head. "Okay let's fight." She said."
"Can you handle it?" Holly taunted.
"Can you handle it?" Holly taunted.
Suddenly the bugle sounded across the forest; it echoed, a sound that was pure and sweet and stopped the clashing sounds of battle.
Scowling at the timing of the flag and realizing who had one, Holly sheathed her sword. She didn't bother to shoot Olive one of her infamous death glares, merely turned and walked away stiffly, body aching and itching.
Jaidon and Elisa were already dashing through the territories, and Olive spun on her heel swiftly. She jogged back toward the creek. A look of distaste and regret shone on her face, she hated missing out on a battle.

"No, I'm here for tea," Holly replied sarcastically, turning toward the voice. She must be near the flag now, she could just feel it.
