pretty much what the subject says...there is a little girl who puts on a cat outfit and pretends she is a cat for a day. I remember liking the bright colorful illustrations. There is not much to the story except watching how her family treats her (they all go along with her little make believe). Once again I read this as a child so i wasn't written in the last 15 years....Thank you!

It sounds like I Want a Cat by Tony Ross. A little girl wants a cat, but her parents say no. So she dresses up like a cat and acts like a cat all day until they give in. I LOVE that book!
No thats not it....I remember she had an orange cat suit, and i think they may have gone to visit their grandma or their grandma came to visit them, and she had a little brother.....anyone have any guesses??
