LOL...I think I already spent it! Project DONE! And it should cover the other 17 or so books that are due to arrive in November....updates to follow once they are actually in my greedy ol hands!

For those of us using Book Depository, they are now stating the date dispatched on each individual book on the Order History lists. So you can see exactly how long each book takes to wing its way to you. LOL.
Oh! I don't doubt that, they seem really good. Can't wait to devour them!

Darkest Night

I have a contest on my blog right now to win any book of your choice under $10 from bookdepository :) Open internationally - that will help with the $$ :)
[Steph, if this is too cheeky go ahead and delete it :)]

Welcome! :D

Nice library additions there, Ms. Judithe. :)

LOL! Yep, we're good for that.
Sandra, I fell in love with BigW. Good book selections in Canberra. :)

I'm going to have to check out our Big W here. I've been buying everything thru book depository so far - unreal pricing!
I'm trying hard to get a few new authors that I've seen as recommended reading in this group - but it's hard to go away from series that you're already 'involved' with.
Orders to come:

You should check out BigW, they have discounted prices and a pretty decent selection for a discount store. Plus, that discount bookstore ... dang, can't remember the name of it, but I think it was a A&R discount place.

I've got a lot of the others on your list - doing good girl!!!!

I'll definately try to look for that discount book store. The library here hasn't got much... besides I'm a bit impatient :)

Shannon, you're in Oz, right? Check and see if your library offers online services. If they do, you should be able to request books (available at other AU libraries) and have them delivered to your library. Just scan through the library database for what you want, request it, and they email you when the book is ready to pick up. Easy! :)

Hmmm, yet another group I hadn't noticed. off to check it out ........ :D Tx, Sandra!

This is definitely a NO GUILT ZONE!!

That's truly a shocker for me, but nothing I wanted was on special, and everything I saw that I wanted I knew I'd get cheaper at BD so I left them there in the shop.

I just know that I should wait at least until my latest order has arrived, saving some money. Although, I have to say I'm probably more excited anyway. Can't wait! :)

Remember, the anticipation...then opening the box where your pristine copy lays...then figuring out which challenge(s) it will fit in remember, SELF-CONTROL is not always a bad thing, and then READING!
Have 3, yes THREE orders coming in, nicely staggered over today, tomorrow, and Friday (son didn't answer the door today, so bumped to tomorrow...but oh well.)

I would've killed him, just to impress upon him next time "do the right thing" for his mother. LOL.

And it's really not the thing to threaten one's child's life for not answering the door when Mom is out...
Judithe wrote: "Oh, Rebecca, you should follow the stagger theory...just try and stagger the orders so they keep on comin'..."
Sounds like a good idea, maybe I should try that.

oops...not supposed to be pressuring people into potentially damaging habits..remember about wallets, bookshelves, neglected family members... Bleah...just enjoy however you get ahold of them!
Ha ha, maybe it would be good for me though. I'll probably try!

LOL, I like your stagger theory Judithe. I shall start experimenting with it ;)

So, in support of that...all the books but two in post #115 are on their way, memo to self: skip grocery shopping today,...at least until AFTER delivery ...but am prepared, have another "stagger" due between 11/12~27.
Found a nice price on Kitty Norville books...so...coming fairly soon are:

And I didn't reallllly mean for him to answer the door when you were out. LOL. You just never know.

I didn't pick that one up yet...the "easy to get" one has a cover I really don't like (lol) that doesn't match the others, but hope to track the "right" one down before I read that far.

Ordered from Borders.com:

I've resisted buying the last book, because I didn't like Faythe all that much in Stray. But everyone here keeps saying she improves, so I'm going to give it a try.
Then went out shopping and got:

I haven't heard any press about Afterlight, but the cover caught my eye. The back cover blurb sounded good and the first few pages hooked me.

and from a charity shop

And yet none of them start with an 'e' or 'o' so I can't use them for the serial challenge!! :(

Pre-ordered:

I really wanted to pre-order

If it wasn't for hardbacks and their prices I would've ordered more :(
