review.show from a mobile device

I am trying to create an activity in my app for viewing comments on a review. To get the comments I am calling the review.show method. When I call this method from my desktop, I get the expected xml. When I make the same GET request from my mobile device the response is the mobile version of the HTML page. I've tried this with both documented forms of the call:
