I've got a question for you Jack &/or all my Aussie friends. Even though I've met most of you over a year ago I can't remember how cold places in Australia usually get. (I'm from the mountains of New Mexico, US for those who don't know me well) =o)

6. Spot in Australia: I loved the iconic Sydney Opera House but the biggest surprise in my travels was Tasmania. Lovely island.

I'm new to this group, but it looked like a bit of fun. Here are a few answers to break the ice...My Favourite...
1. Time of Day: Dawn (when I can actually drag myself out of bed early enough to experience the hush and the colours)
2. Food: Indian... I am a curry fiend.
3. Drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic): Gin & Tonic or Earl Grey Tea. God, I'm sounding like an English colonialist here.
4. Band/singer: Jeff Buckley, Tool, Kaleo, Radio Head, Frank Sinatra
5. Actor: Daniel Day Lewis
6. Spot in Australia: Wine country WA - aka Margaret River region.
7. Team/Sport: Surfing... floating in the ocean with friends is amazing. I generally support the Aussies in the events.
8. Car: Toyota Prado. Dream car is a Tesla Model X.
9. Animal: Dragon. Specifically, one that can breathe underwater and still shoot fireballs.

I second that. Jazzy! That's definitely quite a lot of little fuzzy friends. Kylie! Do you breed and/or show them? I used to breed/show mini lop bunnies. The one's I didn't show, I sold to young kids who were just starting 4-H or i sold them for pets. mini lops are terrific house bunnies as they are similar to cats using a litter box. The're very cuddly and calm. I think I had as many as 30 at one point!
As to your question. Jazzy. the way I kept records and pedigrees for all my bunnies. It's not as hard to keep track of who's who then
you might expect.

Haha yes I did breed and show, but the ones I have now are old age pensioners, all retired. I kept track of the pedigrees using Kintraks software. They all have their pedigree names, which are longer than they are, and the names they get at home, usually a shortened version. My stud name is Tintinara and all the pigs I breed have that prefix. So Tintinara Amber Glow is shortened to Amber. One time I was at an agricultural show and was setting the guinea pig up to take a pic when a lady asked if she could take his picture and what his name was. I gave her his full name as I didn't want to reveal he was known at home as Shithead.I LOVE Mini-lops Li'l Owl, I would love one, but unfortunately Rabbits are banned in Queensland where I live and there are massive fines for having them.
Jazzy I currently have Phoenix, Fireworks, Mini, Mushroom (Mushy for short), Jan (named by my young nephew), Bitey (don't ask), Matty, Amber, Trouble, Shimmer, Siren, Ara, Lucy and Auryn.
Wow, Kylie & L'Owl I'm impressed. My friend has 4 guinea pigs, one rabbit (Frankenstein) and two rats. One of the rats is named Bitey. I have two cats only. Lucy and Cosette.

Is it due to diseases, problems with them being a huge problem in the wild, and/or somthing else?

Hi,1. Time of Day: Dawn-riding to work along the Moruya River with tussocks of mist kissing the water and then writing in the quiet of the pre-rush of the school day.
2. Food: Wild Atlantic Salmon with stir fry
