12 (hehe) Weirdest thing about you: I have a condition that sometimes makes me allergic to the sun - Porphyria, it's were the vampire/werewolves legend began, as some people become allergic to the sun, some to silver - and technically this isn't the weirdest thing about me, it's just the one i'm willing to share ;)

1. Time of Day: 10:00pm onwards (by then I have finished marking and lesson prep and can settle down with a good book)

2. Food: Anything from Vili's - or Golden North Ice Cream. For main meals, pretty much anything a cruise ship dishes up.

3. Drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic): Farmers' Union Iced Coffee

4. Band/singer: Simply Red, Adele, Carrie Underwood, Beccy Cole, Kasey Chambers, Alison Hams, Mark Tempany, Wings (one of the few who seem to have preferred Paul's Wings era to the Beatles)

5. Actor: Bill Nighy (also, John Oliver and Stephen Colbert... not sure they count as 'actors' but I love their work!)
Oh, I should also add my nephew, Lachlan Martin. He made his stage debut in 'Strictly Ballroom' and is now in 'Georgy Girl' - before that he had his start as B1 for a while!

6. Spot in Australia: On board a cruise ship departing Circular Quay. Also, my apartment overlooking the water at West Beach. I can't survive anywhere away from water - not sure if it has something to do with my answer for Question 10

7. Team/Sport: Central District Football Club (SANFL), West Torrens District Cricket Club, England cricket team, Western Bulldogs, South Australian Redbacks (hopefully winners of the Sheffield Shield next week, for the first time in 20 years!)

10. Activity: Sleeping, Going to movies - I sometimes combine the two quite well into Sleeping at Movies, Cruising - I went on my very first cruise before I was born (stowaway in my '10 pound pom' mum's womb) and have been on 12 in the past three years - three more scheduled this year.
