And slightly stinky too, I might add.

Arrived back to a wet, cool Sydney last night but better that than a heat wave. All seems to have survived in our absence. The house is better than expected, boy-clean at any rate. All the floors are a bit sticky, lots of 'stuff' lying around and the fridge is full of beer and dips. My two little cats have survived and appear to have been well fed but are very happy to see us back.
Just about to head off and do the Christmas grocery shopping. Hope Woolies isn't too manic at this hour.

Welcome home Carolyn...I can imagine "boy clean" and had to lol at the contents of your fridge! :) All sounds pretty good considering, though sticky floors would do me in, I like to go barefoot :@

That's really impressive Melissa! (I hate cold tea too! :)

So, what book(s) is everyone looking forward to in 2016?

I hate shopping music of any kind. I like quiet. Maybe I'm strange. Obviously the shop owners think people buy more with that awful music.
What city/town or state do you live in B?

I am looking forward to getting through some of those on my reading list.

Thanks everyone, it's good to be back!
@Jools and Brenda, you wouldn't want to risk walking barefoot on my floors at the moment!
Woolies was a breeze this morning at 8am. Very quiet and all the shelves well stocked :) I didn't hear carols either Bette although they were playing the Woolies Fresh Food jingle over and over!

Welcome back Carolyn. I had a laugh about the floor. I never go barefoot. Our Coles was good this morning. Lots of cars at the new Woolies though as we went past.
For Melissa Woolies is Woolworths and yes a supermarket.

Yup, Woolworths is a big supermarket chain found Australia wide. Coles is the other major chain and then there are some smaller independent stores and the German chain Aldi is making inroads.
