BookShelf BINGO: FAQ

See this is why I'm a GR librarian, I just can't help it.

1. Thank you for answering my question.
2. After extensive research, contacting all available resources, it has been officially determined...
There is no BINGO POLICE!
There is however, severe penalties if fun is not had by all!

Ohhhhh, Steph is getting out her whip?? Can I watch, huh? Please, please, please??
Uh, she's coming after me? Never mind, color me gone!
lolol
My imagination just overrules my good sense sometimes. I will put myself in time-out now.

Thanks :)

will read through to see what I need to do. I'll see if I can figure out why you got the not accepting messages notice.

Hold off reading until the next shelf announcement, which will be this coming Sunday. If you have any questions about how to play, feel free to ask me, Sallie or your other team mates. I'm sure you'll catch on quickly.
Welcome to the game!!

I hope that is not sarcasm directed at my absolute, all-time, better-than-chocolate, movie???
lolol

And now I have had "Who's Johnny" in my head ever since I read Sandra's post. Thanks. A lot.

shhh....
I can't remember seeing it either! My snarkiness runs away with me sometimes.

Of course, he was so cute! LOL

* All books should be a minimum of 200 pgs. All others are more of a novella. This rule will be effective as of the 2nd shelf announcement, in case someone has already chosen and read one for shelf #1. (if you have read one for shelf #1, your read will count)
* No, graphic novels are not accepted.

Unfortunately, teams are set until the next round. A little before that, Steph will make an announcement for interested people to sign up. Several teams are getting close to Bingo, so this one might be close to finished...all depends on Mr. Randomizer! Really hope to see you in the next round and feel free to drop by the bingo threads and chat, too!!

I was wondering that too. We have all of the Sirantha Jax books on the shelf, but not
Endgame. I was gonna add it, but then I wasn't sure if since I added it, I would be able to read it for the free space.

The sticky point is that during Bingo it would almost be the same as tagging our own book to fit a shelf, which is not the way to go.
I'm kind of shooting myself in the foot in saying that but it is an ethical dilemma.

I know goodreads has lots of suggestions for series checklist sort of stuff; including group options and hope they get to soon (after whatever's needed to help the over-capacity problems)

That's kinda how I was looking at it too. I'm reading a different book just because I felt funny about it. But now...I feel like I've also kinda done my duty for the group just in case there was someone else out there that wanted to read Endgame for their free space.
Deborah, I actually thought about going through and filling in the blanks. I still might do that as a work day project since I like to not actually work if I can get away with it lol

Even most of my bookshelves are in alphabetical order or series order, depending on which author. My friends just laugh at me when they notice. They can't believe anyone would do that. I've always done it.
Not to mention I've done the same with the dvd's, and yet when one of them wanted to borrow one, it took me exactly 1.8 seconds to find the said dvd, Short Circuit 2, #5 is Alive.
