I just sent a question off to Sam about the bonus points. Since you've already claimed the 100 bonus for the RtT tasks earlier, I think that only 100 more points should be added to your score for the Mega Finish. (Mega Finish = 200 points for all 30 tasks. I'm not sure if that 200 points is over and above of the RtT bonus, or if the RtT is intended to be included in the Mega Finish total.)
I'm only adding 100 points at this juncture until I get a ruling from Sam. If I've been scoring this wrong I'll go back and add 100 more points to Cheryl TX, and colleen's scores also.
Hi Krista ,Thanks for working so hard for us. I need to maybe have some points subtracted in lieu of the post above about task 20.6, multicultural Season. When I posted I took "from" to mean "born in" and claimed points for authors that now live in the US.

and I am close to finishing " the Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Diaz - born in the Dominican Republic, lives in U S now and was listed in the help thread as a possibility.

I know I'm stretching it a bit here, but I thought it was interesting that different publishers couldn't agree on where to put the apostrophe.
Good try on the Combo points, but I really don't feel like that this fits the spirit of the Task 10.9. No Combo points awarded.

I really enjoyed this book set in rural New Mexico just after WWII. I learned more about the Catholic religion than I expected. The author wonderfully captured the back-and-forth bantering that goes on between a group of pre-teen boys. Some scenes were comic, but some were tragic. I was pleasantly surprised!

Sorry Krista, we don't have ranches as such here so I find it difficult to visualize exactly what is meant by a farm.
Alright all you MegaFinishers --- I have some good news from Sam regarding how the bonuses are to be awarded.1) Complete Reading through Time, receive 60 or 100 points based on what type of traveler you were.
2) Complete the 20 non-Reading through Time tasks, receive 100 points (RwS Finish).
3) Complete all 30 tasks, receive an additional 200 points (Mega Finish) bonus.
In other words, when you finish the entire challenge (and take the Constant Traveler path), you end up with 400 bonus points.

Here ranch usually means land used to raise cattle, sheep, goats etc. with some acreage used to grow feed crops for those animale. The word "farm" means land used primarily for growing food for human consumption or feed crops.

Hi Karen:
If you want to go through and disqualify the specific points for your earlier books you can. I did approve them originally when I scored them. But I remember I had a question about a couple of them at the time. I'm fine with leaving it as is, or updating it per your instructions. Sometimes this scoring is a bit of an imprecise science with some things harder to figure out than others. :-)
We're trying to be more precise in the task requirements so we encounter fewer of these issues. But some seem to sneak through each challenge.

You can't claim multiple Series points for books read for the same task. My tally shows that you've already read (and claimed Series points for) another book in this series for Task 10.3. I'm not going to count the Series points for Glory in Death.
