Thank you :D

I just started Reconstructing Amelia by Kimerbly McCreight and can't put it down. The girl at Collins Booksellers recommended it and I was a bit dubious because she was about 20 years younger than me! But I love it; I want to find out the outcome but I don't want it to end.

I've been an avid reader my whole life, in the last few years mostly non-fiction. I'm about to go back to uni, so have been reading up on things that might be relevant.
Can't wait to explore some good fiction as well, though, it's been so long since I read fiction I'm out of the loop!

Hi Loretta, welcome to you too. We have an Aussie Authors spotlight where you are more than welcome to set up a thread to promote your book :)

I am also an avid reader and have enjoyed the opportunity here to review some of my favourite reads - I had no idea one was able to do that - I'm on a learning curve, and it is great to see what other people think about books as well.
If you would like to see a bit more about what rows my boat you can check out my blog site here

I am passionate about this country and love reading stories written about it by Australian authors, and if the story has got dogs and horses in it chances are it will go into my top ten list :)

The Scribbly Bark Poet

My name's Anthony, I'm an Australian author and I'm addicted to reading. Just when I thought my shelf couldn't fit any more books, someone invented the eBook reader. Brilliant.
I'm from Melbourne and love to travel. It's my dream someday to write a book that will put Australia on the map- the rugged coastlines, the beach vibe, the laid back demeanour of coastal living. I don't think it's stated as much, so one day I would like to deliver that truth to a global audience.
Anything surreal, magical realism, philosophical, travel related or Harlan Coben, I'm a fan.

Thank you for the warm welcome. Looking forward to being a part of this group

I like sci-fi and fantasy predominantly, but I try my eye at most things. I also vaguely want to write but haven't really done anything to make that happen other than scribbling stories on notepaper during quiet shifts. :P

As for me, I seem to have drifted into some 'light' reading these past few weeks. But I am getting inspiration for seeing your reviews.

Hi Bette, you can check out what the groups reading at this thread. Plus it would be great hear what book(s) you've got on the go as well :)

Just discovered this amazing website and like the idea of recording what you read, not only for your own personal record but it also gives you advice what to read next. And on top of that, I love talking about interesting books which is what you do here too.

I wish I did. I'm scribbling story ideas at work atm :P
And welcome Pascale! This is possibly the greatest website I have ever been a part of, I can't believe it took me so long to realise it existed myself :P
