I'm also into native America romance historical or modern In those I love the where the girl falls in love with her captor once again not the erotic ones thanks so much!
I like the captive/kidnap theme too. I used to read a lot of NA romance. I think they are too sad for me now though.

Hello fellow members,I know I've basically been a name in avatar presence alone for the past several months so I wanted to re-self-introduce.
First off, Hello and Happy Holidays to all. My name's Jessa and I'm a writer/indie author/avid reader. At present I write erotic / romantic fiction and have self-published three short stories. I'm also working a romance novel which I hope to have out...um...once it's done I guess lol I'm just now recovering from a recent publication and all the prep involved in that as well my computer's motherboard konking out on me several weeks ago. (Go go Netbook power! I now have one and I'm loving it!).
Anywho, hope to meet and re-connect with other members soon!
All my best,
Jessa
Jessa, my computer has given me all kinds of problems in the past year, so I feel your pain. I bought a netbook over year ago to be a backup computer and to use to read ebooks (now I have a Kindle Fire for that). My netbook has saved me from going crazy when my computer wasn't available or acting right. I like the portability, too. Because of the size it's easier to travel with than the laptop. Welcome to the group!
Hi, everyone! I'm Carolyn Evans-Dean and just published my first novel. When writing it, I didn't really think much about the interracial dating aspects of the storyline. It was a component that was included due to proximity and was dictated by the story's setting. I was quite pleased to find this group at GoodReads, with a focus on interracial relationships. My family has been interracial for several generations, so it is nice to see that this topic is able to receive a bit of mainstream attention.
I've been in love with the romance genre nearly (mmph-mmph)years after discovering it at the age of 19. I was hooked after the first chapter and always counted on them to help me to escape the realities of a stressful day at work or in college. While I hope that members here will decide to read my book, Bystander: A Tale of the End of the World as SHE knew It, I am also looking forward to getting some good suggestions for books in this genre. With the majority of a Central NY winter in front of me, I'd love to schedule some reading time in front of the fire.
Thanks for the warm welcome, Arch & Lady Danielle!Did anyone get any good books during the holiday season that fit the interracial genre? I received a couple of bookstore gift cards that are burning a hole in my pocket...
Thanks for the welcome, Delaney!Arch, while my book has a strong interracial romance component, it isn't strictly a romance...but it is physical book and not an ebook. I am working a few of the bugs out of the ebook file now!
Thanks, Lady Danielle! Now, that is my idea of a book endorsement. I can go to the library to find books to read (and return)...But when I go to the effort to re-purchase something that I've already read...the book is a GEM!!!

Okay Carolyn.
Thank you Lady Danielle and Delaney and Hello Carolyn! (I'm working on an interracial romance novel at present...does that count? I'm also trying to integrate more characters of color into my books.). As of now my netbook is my primary computer and I'm loving it. I basically write and surf the web, so I was happy to find a more streamlined version of the notebook - and relatively economically priced, which was nice. My old laptop was at the point where I had to have it plugged in all the time just to be able to work on it - and even then the cord was loose, so that if I moved the wrong way, I risked my computer just shutting off all of a sudden. Feels odd being able to move around so willingly and carefree. Very new.
Really nice to cross your paths here at the group. =] And I'm happy to back! =D

Title your story with your Name, the Name of your story, and that's it's part of the Men in Uniform Challenge.
Does that make sense?
