@ Rae: thanks for your help! This is my first time being a member of a group on Goodreads so it'll take time for me to get used to how everything works!
@ Delilah: Yes, Belgium has 3 official languages: French (which is my mothertongue), Dutch and German! Unfortunaly I didn't understand what you said lol! I can't speak German (although I should!)
@ Delaney: Merci :)
Welcome Urenna and Fiona!
Hey Amy, we have a section for non challenge stories. If you want to share a non challenge (interracial) story, then feel free to.
If you check out bookshelves out, you will see a lot of us read non interracial stories as well.
What draws me to a story is tension and no, I'm not talking about sexual tension, because tension doesn't always mean sexual tension.
I also like seeing romance in a romance story.
I'll read a catcher, no matter if it's not an interracial story.
What kind of stories do you write Amy? I'm into contemporary stories. I like reading a good funny chick-lit too.
I'm doing a paranormal challenge for myself, because I'm not a fan of paranormal, but I'm trying something new.
I like reading about dangerous bad boys. :) I love writing about them too.

Amy, I'm giving myself a chick-lit challenge, but that's coming later this year. I'm focusing on my interracial bad boy story - Trespassing and then I'm going to finish my Royal interracial story - Courage that's on this board. And then, I'm going to start my Uniform challenge story on here too. I have so many stories in the work. I definitely have to get back to my His Bodyguard story.
I love writing. It's fun.

True Season of Love

I am a new member. Just joining to look for books to read. I generally read paranormal and urban fantasy, but I like any IR books and have read a few. I do write, but still working towards fiction publication.
Best to everyone.

I am also glad to meet and here about other writers that I am not familiar with.
As for IR, I have only read a handful. I liked them, but I think I was slow to get into it because contemporary romance was never really my thing so IR didn't cross my radar. Of course, there are more IR's available so maybe the variety will be more apparent.

Is it ok if I follow you on twitter and add your site to my blogroll? I have a blog in progress and am working towards publication. I love to follow other writers.

p.s. who sent me the IR clip from the movie 'SuperNova' ? ;^) it was ssssteamy, Loved it!

If you're ever interested in reading something a little less steamy, I'd love for you to check out my stories. My IR stories are sensual romances and feature Latin male heroes.
Welcome to the group!

Hello and welcome to any new members. Please take the time to read the group rules so that there aren't any issues with posting etiquette. Thanks!

1.) IR books were the first e-books that I ever read. I've read alot more than are in my bookshelf but I can't remember them all.
2.) I prefer Black woman/White male books but I'm getting into Black woman/Asian male stories. Those are really hard to find which is a bummer.
3.) I'm 28 and single because I still haven't found a big, burly man who's military (I admire their bravery and selflessness), owns a security company, drives a motorcycle, loves to read, has a wicked sense of humor, a sharp mind and a love of small pets.
Really, I'm just shy...but I still want all of the above. :)
4.) I'm an artist when I'm not at my 9 to 5.
lol, welcome Laddie.
By any chance, do you write? We have interracial writing challenges on here. Our next one and you can start now, is a interracial story about someone in uniform. The man or woman, must like it will be man.

Welcome to the group!

Thanks for the welcome. I am a platinum card carrying member of the Better To Laugh Than To Cry club.
@Arch
Lol. I'm letting characters who wear uniforms swim around in my brain. I always want to write a story about military or law enforcement but I'm scared I'll get the facts all wrong.
Laddie, I'm a make believe writer. My man in uniform will be a CIA agent. He's Asian. Heroine is black.
Laddie, just do as much research as you need to do, and you can readily do that online. People want to read a romance, not a manual on law enforcement anyway.

What is the name of your book
