*waves* Hey guys! I’m new to the group. My name is Mila, and I am an avid reader and writer of interracial romance. I particularly enjoy historical and contemporary romance, though I sometimes dabble in stuff like paranormal too. I’m excited to be a part of this group! 👍🏽

1. I'm new to the Interracial Romance genre. I've enjoyed several books. Unfortunately, there have been more than a few that I've found to be painful to read. (See #2 below.)
2. I'm a self-proclaimed "Grammar Nazi" (I apologize ahead of time) and it makes books with typos and bad sentence structure a bane to my existence. (Cultural euphemisms and slang are not a problem...misspelled words, leaving out words...yeah...no...that's a problem.)
3. I think I've read close to 90 books on Kindle Unlimited since June of this year (2019). Does this mean I have no life?
4. Since I have no life, I guess all I have are 3 points. :)
I'm really looking forward to some recommendations in this genre.
Happy Reading!

Thank you, Sassafras! I'll check out JJ Murray and the threads you suggested.
Welcome Polly. As a writer and reader, grammar doesn't bother me, even famous authors books aren't error free. Enjoy the group.

Good to meet you all. My name is Lyn, and I have just published my first book in the romance genre.
Some of my favorite authors are Julie Garwood, Kathleen Woodiwiss, Johanna Lindsey, Judith McNaught, and Hannah Howell.
Until I read Poetry Man by Melani Schuster, a book I thoroughly enjoyed, I'd never read an interracial romance. This began my love for this genre.
I started writing full time two years ago and mostly write screenplays in different genres.
Before becoming a writer, I worked in the corporate world. In fact, writing became my form of escape or should I say therapy. :-D

I'm currently reading Her Wickham falls SEAL by Rochelle Alers.

Hello SassafrasfromAmazon,
Thank you for the welcome and your question. No, she left home when she was 16 years old but the story is based on when she is in her late twenties.
Cheers

Thanks, SassafrasfromAmazon! I hope you enjoy the story.

Hello, Angie welcome to the group. I'm sure you'll enjoy your time here. :-)

Welcome to the group. You will enjoy.
Hi, my pen name is Jasper Crone—just call me Jas (like has, only with a J)—and I'm a 31-year-old author, blogger, and bookologist. 👩🏽💻

I recently decided to delve into IR books after realising I like IR couples on TV. Funnily I started writing fanfic about an IR couple and that made me want to get back into reading. I was mostly a chic lit girl but now I discovered there’s a big wide world of IR books. I love BWWM or BWAM books and am slowly going through the threads trying to get recommendations. I’ve got a lot to read but seem to be going through a book day lol
If anyone wants to recommend some must reads in the genre I’d appreciate it
