My name is Mel and I am from Sydney, Australia. My beautiful parents were born on a little African island called Mauritius. I grew up a brown girl in a town where there wasn't a lot of diversity in people, let alone books.
My first book with a protagonist of colour was in my early twenties and it changed my life. Now, I am an avid reader and writer of interracial romance novels.
My favourite IR novels have a healthy balance of erotica and romance. I love contemporary, historical and speculative romance novels!
I just discovered this group through one of my reviewers and I am so excited to see and join likeminded readers!

Welcome, Mel!

I am an author (who is not afraid of integrating interracial couples into my work AT ALL ) as well as a marketer and blogger. Right now I'm more blogger.
I'm also a reader who's now starting Little Women and will then move to a book I heard about called Wench by Dolen Perkins-Valdez about slave women living in a resort of sorts and one of them falls for her master. I'm totally excited about reading that.
But enough about me...

Firstly, thank you, FoIR, for having an open group for all who wish to join.
My name is Sophia, writing as S. L. Gibson. I am from London, England. I am the newly published author of Love Changes Everything - Kincaid & Brae's Story. This is an IR PNR ebook. My writing style is very much for adult readers.
I enjoy reading fiction because it is my escape space. I like a range of fiction genres including IR PNR and under this genre I love shifters and big guys so its tigers, bears, and dragons for me “Oh, my.” Not all my reads are IR, but when they are I enjoy BWWM and have just started exploring BWAM stories. I also enjoy erotica, fantasy, thrillers, suspense, romance, crime and murder mystery.

Glad that there is a group like this - I've recently found and loved the writing of Alyssa Cole and of Alisha Rai and have always loved historical romances.
Glad to be here and excited to learn about more authors that focus on other races and ethnicities and inter-cultural romances.
best,
Zeva Hart

1. I love books. I have boxes filled with IR BWWM, BWAM & BWNAM books published before ebooks came on the scene.
2. I am a (BW) who moved from the East Coast to the Midwest to attend college & stayed. Good thing, because my hubby (WM) saw me in a crowded room and, well, we’ve been married for 30 years.
3. I enjoy writing reviews that will assist people in making really informed decisions about reading/buying a book. I try not to rehash the whole synopses of books, but I do give my honest observations about them.
4. I value honesty, loyalty and kindness because I have those qualities. BUT, cross me at your peril.
I know I am going to love my new “home” here, while trying to put books on my shelves, while trying to categorize my books in useful ways, while trying to—OK, ya’ll get the message :-)

I look forward to interacting with the group!

Welcome, Ayrica!

I'm AlTonya and I'm a reading fanatic! You can find lots of my reviews here at Goodreads. I am a HUGE JD Robb fan (actually a Roarke fan, those of you who read the In Death series will understand...) Anyway, my tastes generally run toward romantic suspense, crime thrillers. I adore Paranormal Romance with Karen Moning being my fave. I've recently discovered JR Ward so...Ms. Moning has some serious competition. I'm inhaling Ms. Ward's Brotherhood titles like crazy! In Interracial romance, I adore Savannah Frierson-great author, great lady. By day I'm a librarian, by night a traditional and independently published author. Guess you can say I'm a reading and writing fanatic. My life is surrounded by books and I wouldn't have it any other way. Thanks for the welcome!

Welcome, AlTonya!

I read ALL genres except Christian and I'm not crazy about YA/NA, but will read if the reviews or book blurb catches my attention.
I have been reading since my mom first placed, Tiger Eyes, Deenie, Blubber and Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret into my hands in elementary school.
I am a S.A.H.M., October baby, and native Floridian who lives in Miami.
Thanks for adding me!

Besides a variety of romance (contemporary, historical, paranormal, and steampunk), I also enjoy horror.
As a writer who believes in inclusiveness, I think that I will enjoy this group!

Welcome, M.F

I'm Megan. I love reading romance novels especially ones with people like me. I'm married to a man I didn't expect but who loves me and treats me right and so I'm looking for books where the relationship looks like mine which there are not a lot of BWAM. Looking forward to seeing what everyone else is reading.

Looking forward to connecting with readers/authors in this genre.
