Introducing....
Hello everyone,
My name is Kia-Marie Khelawan but that's a mouthful so I shortened it to KM Kaye. I'm a newbie. Woot Woot! I just joined and I am so excited. I love to read and write about IR couples. A little bit about me…
I live in Trinidad and Tobago, which is a small island in the Caribbean, and I am a proud beach bum.
I’m Indian/Black/Hispanic, which is actually quite a common mix in the Caribbean. However, my ethnicity still baffles people so I get the infamous “What are you?" question ever so often. It doesn’t bother me though.
I love reading all types of books but there is a special place in my heart for young adult novels and IR romance and young adult novels that includes IR romance are simply the best.
I’m also a huge fan of teen sex comedy. It’s not really a book genre. It’s more a movie genre but it gets me every time.
I am also completely obsessed with Harry Potter.
I love books or anything related to books and I would really like to get to know my fellow IR romance lovers.

There is nothing you can do. We all get it and I'm a Mod. It's there to remind us of The Group's rules.

Welcome Phillip. Please edit your introduction to only introduce yourself. This thread is not a place for authors to tell us about their book or books. We have an author's section for that. My job is to delete your thread, but I will give you a chance to correct your thread. If it's not done by the time I go to work, I will delete it.
Again welcome to the group.

1. I like well written books of different genres in Print format. I don't like ebooks. (Although I read a few on my computer).
2. I'm from Mississippi, but consider myself a Texan. (I've lived here since the 80's).
3. My favorite shows are Game of Thrones, The Sopranos, NYPD
Blue, Hill Street Blues, and Star Trek. (Yeah, I'm a Trekkie and I love Star Wars too!! Does that make me a TrekWars?)
4. My favorite female heroines are Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot rocks!), Daenerys Targaryen, Brienne Tarth, Jennifer Melfi, Katniss Everdeen, Hermoine Granger, and Samantha Stevens.
5. I'm a creative person. I'm an artist (drawing, painting, costume design. I dabbled in photography and sculpture). I've written poems, lyrics, short stories and a novel. I sing, and play the piano. I'm not a professional but would love to take classes in Photography, costume design, sculpture and creative writing. In the second act of my life, I want a career in the creative arts. I'd like to combine it with Activism.

Hi Jmelfi. Welcome. Your fav female heroines list is pretty awesome. Those are my kinda girls as well especially Hermione, Katniss, Brienne and Daenerys. Would love to be in a room with those four.

I am an aspiring author from Nigerian & Jamaican, and right now I live in Jamaica. It's hard to find people who share my love of romance in Jamaica, so I tend to connect with romance fans online.
I read most romance subgenres but my favorite subgenre is historical romance. I wish there were more interracial romances in that subgenre.
Anyway it's good to be here and I look forward to chatting with you all.

I've always loved and devoured books, but my top and favorite genres (a longtime secret and hidden pleasure of mine) is Romance, Erotica, and Interracial.
Everyone has their definition of Erotica. For me, it's not only the sex act (which is undoubtedly the best part of a book), it's the build up to it...the words, the steps towards it, the mental process of arousal before, during and after, with sex as the masterpiece simmering at the center of all that. This means I usually tend to navigate towards erotica with an emotional impact (except when I need that hit it and quit it type of erotica!)
I've always had a dirty, curious mind, and naturally this has led to my writing my own stories. I've also always loved other cultures, and I find there's something exciting and titillating about mixing people of different races in a romantic setting.
I have an author promo going in the Promotions section with excerpts from my Kindle ebook "Mr. Russo" and hope you will check it out. Your comments are very much appreciated!
(If I mess up on any community rules, I'm sorry and please correct me!)

My favorite genres in romance are: dark, historical, and paranormal.
I read a lot (fiction and non-fiction), and dabble in writing. Love to draw as well.
I've been on Goodreads for a few years, and just bumped into you all today. lol
