Hi everyone! I'm Kaia Bennett, and I'm a writer that just recently published my first book, Sunday, this past May. I write IR erotic romance, and hope to write books in every genre to reflect the way I read and experience life. Also, I apologize because I introduced myself in another thread and neglected to do so here. I'm happy to be a part of the group, which I found around the time I got the Goodreads Author stamp, and will try to contribute more in the near future. So, I've been following some threads in this group for a while, and enjoy you all. I don't think I've posted anything, but it's because I'm a little odd--I'm into interracial, but not romance. By that I mean that I really enjoy experiencing and learning about different races and cultures, and how they relate to each other, but I'm not a romantic. So I might not have much to say, but I'll be around. Oh, and I do write fantasy with themes about interracial relationships, and there's a LITTLE bit of romance, but it's not a strong theme at all. So I feel a bit like an oddball. Anyway, just thought I'd introduce myself.

Somehow I missed this thread when I joined the group. My name is Kim. I live in coastal NC where I am currently working as a translator and a free-lance book editor. I'm also a stay at home mom to my 5 year old son. I LOVE reading and just books in general, to the point that much to my husband's dismay, I have turned one of the walk in closets in our bedroom into a mini library, forcing a few of his things into the guest room closet :) I enjoy IR (particularly BWWM), Regency and Georgian historicals, sensual/erotic romance, paranormal/sci-fi, classic plays, cookbooks (especially older ones), and astrology/new age themes. But really, anything at all that is well written catches my attention. I'm up until all hours of the night since I get the most work done after dark (well, MOSTLY, because it's nearly 2 am and I'm on here instead of working on this manuscript...and don't let me get started about the devil that is Facebook, LOL). I'm glad I stopped lurking and jumped in!
