I'm a little new to the IR Genre, but Ive been reading since I was little. I wanted to join a group where I could come and discuss some of the greatest love stories. I'm also a writer of IR, hopefully in the future you guys could ready some of my work.
hey everyone. Nice to be here!
The yearly challenge has been posted to all who wish to participate. You can't officially sign up until January 1st though.

Hi Gwen! Nice to meet you! I'm always surprised to find there are other Gwens around. LOL! It's an old Celtic name and is hardly used anymore. As far as I know from what my mother told me, she didn't know of it's origins. She just thought it was pretty and liked it. Are you Gwendolyn as well? If so, I am too, but my mother spelled it Gwendlyn. Kinda nice. It's pronounced the same. :)

I am a new member to the group. Looking forward to interacting with new people about not only books. I Love all genres of books but have since been on this romance kick!

Its funny that you said that because my mom's name is Gwendolyn and my grandmother is a Gwen but my full name is Gwenasia. Like Gwen and then Asia but together there really isn't a meaning for it but once when I was in high school a teacher told me if you broke my name up it actually means "strong and powerful winds" Lmfao i know its really funny when you say it out loud.

Welcome, Theresa!
Take a browse around, and I think you'll find plenty of recommendations!
I have recently read Pepper Pace, and she is a newer voice I have enjoyed. Beast

My name is Theresa – I can see that there is a least one other member by this name, so maybe we may have to come up with another suggestion as to how I will be known in order to differentiate us ;-)
A little bit about me: I live in London and I love reading. I have been an avid reader since childhood and nothing has changed over the years. I also love to travel when I get the chance.
I only discovered IR books a short while ago and have read many since this discovery. I can see that one of the recommendations is for Pepper Pace. I second that, she is one of my favorite writers. I also love Mercedes Keyes.
Sorry, back to me. I have also just self published my first book on Amazon. I will post the details on coming attractions and author, writers corner in the hope of getting feedback.
That's all for now, I look forward to making new friends.
PS, I do have a tendency to go on and on – sorry if this is too much.

I'm a new member. Great to see this group. I do occasional reviews for IRMC books and blog at Smart Girls Love Sci Fi. I also do part time work at a digital publisher.
As a writer, I write in a different genre, but interested in anything that has more multicultural characters and settings. ( Goal for this year is to send out manuscripts, fingers crossed) Between blogging, reviewing, and writing ( and family first!) I don't get much spare time to just read, but IR's are some of my faves. I've read some traditionally pubbed, e-pubbed, indie pubbed... Like any IR's but love it when the heroines are women of color or non-western b/c there still so underrepresented in fiction.
Anyway, I hope to check in now and then and hear about some great stuff.
R.K.

Let's see...other things about me.
1. My family and I listen to music nonstop (lately it's been Tegan and Sara's most recent album).
2. I love movies and my sister, Bethany and I quote random lines to each other way too often (Corrina, Corrina and Earth Girls are Easy are two favorites).
3. I have way too many pairs of shoes and need moarrrrr.
4. I'd love to write a book someday.
Toodles! :)
Welcome, Jen. You and your sister sound like me and my sister. We have a film geek language going on all the time.
