I have a habit of twirling my curls while I read and I think after last night/today's read-a-thon stint I'm going to have virtual dreads. LOL!

Sorry, I took advantage of your absence to fill in some lists from last nights book. Couldn't help myself.This book is going good. This time the hero is a special forces type, set in same place. In fact he has infiltrated Atlantis and is so not having fun in the jungle.

Well, I can't help it. I've been a trekkie since I was a little kid & they 1st aired on TV.Although I always found Lost in Space to be just a little weird. I couldn't believe that they kept believing Dr Smith.

And Lost in Space's sleestaks were freaky! Dr. Smith was a creeping looking dude. Little man Will and his robot to save the day!

See, when you start young, I was probably 6 or 7 yrs old, you don't notice Kirk's delivery, it just becomes how he talks. I always thought 'Bubble Headed Boobie' was funny though!
Dr Who had sleestaks - did LIS as well? I don't remember. It must have sounded the right kind of Alien for TV.
I didn't want to go with Daisy, didn't want the other girls to think I was full of myself. I thought Daffy was a nice compromise. Even though hes Southpaw's avatar at the moment.

I've been watching Dr Who since it started too. Our ABC had it on after school 4 nights a week for years, replaying every episode they could get their hands on. I've got every episode that still exists on DVD, so I knew Sleestaks. Good picture by the way. You made me go & have a look at my 4 Decades of Dr Who Legend book. Bad girl. That's part of my OCDitis - start collecting and have to keep going unless there's a good reason to stop. And there is no reason to stop Dr Who or Star Trek or Stargate etc etc.
Well my guy is hearing her voice in his head & he thinks he's gone schizo. She tells him to watch out for the quicksand, of course he doesn't, she tells him how to get out of the quicksand, and he does. She tells him how to kill the demon etc etc. He hasn't met her yet.I wonder what will happen then.LOL.
LOL! I have only seen a few Dr Whos, but we watched Torchwood while in AU. Plus ... LOVE Stargate!! Although newest side series needs to pick up the pace a bit. The finale was good though. We'll see how S02 is when it returns.How ya going with reading? Keep Truckin'?

I'm 12% in.Torchwood was good. Capt Jack started off in Dr Who and was a spin off. It sort of went a bit weird in about S3. Did you see the Wedding Ep with Gwen pregnant with the alien baby. That was a scream!!!
I agree the Stargate Universe needs work. SG1 was excellent & Atlantis was good.

I'm 30% in.Capt Jack ... I kept telling J he was bi on the show, but he didn't believe me, until ... his little bromance. How cute those two. Poor Jack, losing all he loved though. Can you believe that J deleted that wedding episode off our Foxtel DVR BEFORE I'd seen it?! Bugger! I was so bummed, had been waiting for that b/c of the sexual tension between Jack & what's her name. Alien baby huh? LOL!
SG1 - the best! I didn't watch all of Atlantis, the scientist guy *dork* bugged me. Always did whenever he was on SG1, then he got that show?! Bleh. hehe Liked some of the other characters though, maybe one day we'll catch up on that one.
