message 401: by Sandra, Need more time to Read!! (new)

Sandra | 4734 comments Yep, but I want a know the answer to msg 397.

message 402: by Steph (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 1573 comments LOL See #400.

message 403: by Sandra, Need more time to Read!! (new)

Sandra | 4734 comments That is so weird! Here we have totally different class times every day. Some subjects we might do only twice a week. Others every day like maths & english. Same teachers and same students per different class, just different timetables.

It was very disconcerting reading this, it just seemed so wrong. Then I thought maybe that's how it is.

message 404: by Sandra, Need more time to Read!! (new)

Sandra | 4734 comments Hope that made sense. If not just jump in. We've got about 15 mins to go, I think.

message 405: by Steph (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 1573 comments "What's the plan?"
"When do we ever have a plan?"
"We always have a plan. We just don't stick to it."
"So what's the point of making it? Why not just wing it?"
Jax clares "Are you in the mood to argue with me?"
"Actually I'm in the mood to f*, but our timing's off."
"Isn't it always? Dance lessons might help."

LOL!

So ... school? in AU? not the same I'm guessing?

message 406: by Steph (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 1573 comments No that makes perfect sense. But, yeah, different from the US. :) Funny, I hadn't thought about how that would seem weird to people in other countries.

message 407: by Sandra, Need more time to Read!! (new)

Sandra | 4734 comments Nope not the same. Thank God. Some classes I just couldn't have done every day, just like Bella hating Volleyball.

message 408: by Steph (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 1573 comments Yeah, it added a nice layer of pain on top of an already dreadful experience. Esp when you couldn't stand some of your classmates, the teacher, whatever. SSDD for 12 yrs. LOL! Your way sounds better. Least you'd have a break. Maybe I wouldn't have skipped so many classes .... shhhh, I didn't say that, you didn't hear it either. LOL!!

message 409: by Sandra, Need more time to Read!! (new)

Sandra | 4734 comments Yep, actually I hadn't thought about it like that, but you're right, we did have a break from each other, both teachers and other kids.

Bella has just been saved from the car wreck happening in the school parking lot. Edward is surprised he can't get Bella to believe he was standing with her when it went down. LOL.

message 410: by Steph (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 1573 comments Yeah, sure would'a been nice to have it your way. :)

LOL! How'd you do that? Do what? You stopped that truck? I did no such thing, that's not possible. Um-hum, I'm not buyin' it .... hehe

message 411: by Steph (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 1573 comments I like this ... I don't need to do a re-read of the series, I just need to chat with you while YOU read it. LOL! :D

message 412: by Sandra, Need more time to Read!! (new)

Sandra | 4734 comments LOL. Yes it does seem like that, doesn't it?

They're arguing in the hospital now, almost exactly as you said... LOL.

message 413: by Steph (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 1573 comments LOL Sorry didn't mean to jump ahead

message 414: by Sandra, Need more time to Read!! (new)

Sandra | 4734 comments That was the first night I dreamed of Edward Cullen.

message 415: by Steph (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 1573 comments Just wait for the "I was certain of three things ...." line. LOL! hehe

Ahhhhhhhh, Edward. LOL! Seriously though, besides being a little infantile {Bella} at times, how are you liking it so far?

message 416: by Sandra, Need more time to Read!! (new)

Sandra | 4734 comments If its 3 yrs since you read it, I'm amazed you're so accurate - to within about 2-3 pages. No need to apologise, Top Duck.

I think our 24 hours is up.

message 417: by Sandra, Need more time to Read!! (new)

Sandra | 4734 comments I think it's very readable so far. Not too juvenile. I'll be sure to laugh at the stupidness rather than scowl. LOL.

Twilight page 58.

message 418: by Steph (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 1573 comments I believe I read it late '06 or early '07. Not sure. They all tend to come back to me when I talk to others about them {books}. Lost, but not forgotten, I guess.

DING 24 hours?! WOW! We made it! :D So, what now? LOL!

message 419: by Sandra, Need more time to Read!! (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 1573 comments I can't wait to hear what you think when it's all done.

Steph (angel4492) | 1573 comments LOL - Not! I'll tally up mine too. Gotta ck GR info though and come back with the #s.

6.The easiest part about it: Chatting to a good friend about books and life
7.Strategy for staying awake: Chatting to said friend & occasional cups of coffee

Plus anything else you feel like adding in.
Definitely the best idea to read with a buddie. Time never dragged, I was always surprised when it was time to stop reading. Can't believe the 24 hours is up! You also learn things about your friends that may not have come up in normal conversation, in this case, in a good way. Go SciFi, Go Steph!!

message 423: by Steph (new)

Steph (angel4492) | 1573 comments Beautiful, I'm copyin' you, if that's ok. Just the look-of, I'll post my own answers. LOL :)

5.The hardest part about it: Involving the computer ... refresh, refresh, refresh, refresh throughout to stay in touch
6.The easiest part about it: Laughing about life and H/h dramatics, sharing quotes and SCI-FI trivia with my friend and now go-to RATbuddy! Following along while Sandra read books I've already read felt like a re-read freebie. :)
7.Strategy for staying awake: DITTO! Chatting to said friend & occasional cans of soda.

Plus anything else you feel like adding in.
I agree 110% Go Sci-Fi, Go Me! LOL! Nah, I've had the most fun with this! I was a little leary at first, but Sandra made the time fly by and didn't complain about my constant post bombardments. We managed to chat about things outside of books, while reading, and although I knew we had things in common before this, this RAT has proven that to be truer than I would've guessed.

Thank you, Sandra, for doing this with me! And, thank you Mods for allowing us to split between 3 days!

message 426: by Sandra, Need more time to Read!! (new)
