Yes Lisarenee I just HAD to read The Elegance of the Hedgehog for this challenge. I thought it was the most incredibly boring book I have read in a long time. Maybe something got lost in the translation.
Oh my! I guess I won't try to read it. So it was originally written in another language?

Web of Lies and At Grave's End tie for my favorite. They both have strong assassin type females that I love. Guess I should make sure they were both mentioned in the Girl Power Thread. I liked both No Humans Involved and Staccato a lot too. They were all good.
At Graves End is awesome I love the whole Night Huntress series, was it a reread for you or new?I will have to check the others out as I haven't read any of those ones
It was my first time reading At Graves End. I need to read the spin off series now as well as all the stories in the anthologies.
There is another one out in the Night Huntress series
, which I actually liked best so far. The sppin off series isn't as good as the actual NH one, but it is stil pretty good, especially the second book in it.
I ripped through all the ones that were out in record time. I read that one too. I can't wait to see what her new "vamp" status will end up revealing. I think another half breed is supposed to come into play with her next book. Did you listen to the podcast I listed in the Book Signings/Appearances folder under Jeanine Frost? It was really a fun interview. It was done by some of her fans who created a blog for her. I think they call themselves the FROSTFANS. Frost gives advanced copies to the one moderator and they have a list of deleted scenes that didn't make it into her books. They even have a scene that was deleted from her first book that was about Cat as a teenager. If you haven't already you should check out their blog. One of the fun things they talked about was a contest she held to name Cat's cat. The winning name ended up being Helsing short for Van Helsing, the vampire slayer. Too funny.
Me too, I liked the whole twist she did with the vampire blood for Cat, you knew she was going to be different in some way! I didn't know that about the halfbreed in the next book, that will be great to read about. I love the cat's name LOL tit is brilliant!I will have to check out the podcast! I didn't know about that.

How was Kin, Rose? I've never read anything by Holly Black before.

This looks like fun. I thought I might try it. I took the quiz and...oh no! I'm a hedgehog!But I'll give it a go, provided I can read non-hedgehog books in between. Are re-reads okay? If not, my alternative will be the second title.

I'm wondering, how long do we have to read this? Because I think this will take me some time to complete...
