It looks like from your example we can use the characters' names, authors' names and titles as part of the alphabet- just want to make sure. I am definitely in. I really like Medieval and haven't read that many.

Hi Pamela-I was wondering if you would think about lengthening the challenge to 6 or12 months. I would love to see how far I could get in the alphabet but I think 2 medievals per month is all I can fit in. I have a bunch of other challenges going. Most A-Z are longer b/c of the amount required. Let me know what you think. I love this idea and I would like to see how many I could do with more time. Thanks!

I'll extend to the end of the year. That way ppl who want to go through the alphabet have a chance :)

I'm trying to get my own list started and I'm trying to decide if rereads would be "cheating"...hmmmmmm
Well, I'll try not to cheat at least on the first few :)
Over at RRRC, re-reads aren't considered cheating as long as the participant reads the whole books and doesn't just skim. Since you're the challenge creator, it totally up to you though.:-)I'd love to participate, but I know I'd want to do the whole alphabet and there's no way I could manage it in just a few months with all the other challenges I'm doing. Sounds fun though. Great idea, Pamela!

Then I'll go with that. Rereads are not cheating lol
But I do think that rereads should be limited to a degree. Maybe only 1 reread per 3 books? Does that seem fair?
Oh please let us do re-reads, I'm trying to find books I have not read but I do have a few re-reads. And if we could go to the end of the year that would be great.

I have a few missing, I'm going to go to the used books store and see what I can find. I want to find ones I have not read yet. I did re-read Mystique by Amanda Quick and I'm glad I put it on my list; it has been so long since I read it that I did not remember anyting about it and I really enjoyed it!

Okay going to try to get back to this challenge. I sort of cheated though. I wanted to do a reread and I couldn't fit it in as an E so I skipped over to J.
I'm still working on this challenge, but I need to find 9 more books to be complete A to Z. I know you said you were really into RS of late, so it must be hard to get back into the historical mood! We do have to the end of the year, so that gives you some time to get in the mood lol....
And they have to be medieval romance and not just historical of any period?
yes they have to be medieval romance, so this weekend I'm going to the used book store and see if I can find my last 9 books.

Dang... that's rough... especially since I can't buy new books starting in January. I'll have to see what I can come up with. Maybe I can do this challenge.
Yes, I think I got enough RS and maybe can get a few historicals in now.

ok, rereads are allowed but only 1 reread to every 3 books. So if u read 3 books then 1 of them can be a reread. However, if it has been say 10 yrs since u read said book then I'd say it qualifies as a non-read book :)
Since I am basically old and have forgotten more than I can remember then chances are if I read a book from 10 yrs ago it will be like reading it for the first time. Feel free to rant at me if any disagree. Thanks.
