I LOVE shirley temples! Too bad they don't have sugar free grenadine. :P

Susan | 6406 comments 7-Up with cherry juice and lots of cherries.

That is what the kids I babysat long ago liked. I did, too.

Susan | 6406 comments I was not allowed such indulgences as a young child. So I tended to overindulge when I got older. Vicious little circle, there.

Félix (habitseven) Viscous?

Grenadine is a cherry flavored syrup used in ST and a tequila sunrise...amongst others.

Félix (habitseven) I thought you said Geraldine. As in Flip Wilson.

ɯɐɔ (camalama) FUUUUU--

Shirley Temples are humiliating.

I was at a hotel, and my mum and I were sitting at the bar, watching the Hawks crush the Bruins, and the bartender came up with one of the wittiest drink names ever. Tequila Mockingbird.

message 261: by Zen (new)

Zen (zentea) | 515 comments Tequila Mockingbird!!!

Maybe your bartender read Tequila Mockingbird: Cocktails with a Literary Twist.

Personally, I would try The Old Man and the Seagram...

message 262: by ɯɐɔ (new)

ɯɐɔ (camalama) Hah. Maybe.

Nice one. I'm still thinking...obviously, being a minor *glares at Shirley Temple*, I wouldn't know many alcohol brands. But I am quite superb at puns...

Susan | 6406 comments I think I need a real day to myself...because all it seems to do here lately is rain.

Phil | 11837 comments My aunt sent a picture today of rain falling on the tarmac at ATL. Holy crap!

message 268: by [deleted user] (new)

We had four rainbows in the sky after a severe thunder and lightning storm.

message 269: by Carol (new)

Carol | 1678 comments We had the brightest rainbow I've ever seen a few days ago!

message 270: by Scout (new)

Scout (goodreadscomscout) | 3594 comments Four rainbows at once, or in succession?

message 271: by [deleted user] (new)

At once. A very stunning flook.

message 272: by Susan (new)

Susan | 6406 comments I like rainbows and junk.

However, I have not seen one in quite some time.

message 273: by [deleted user] (new)

We get them here on occasion, after a brutal thunder and lightning storm.

We had a funnel cloud which thankfully did not hit the ground.
