I've read like 6 or 7 King books in a row, so I'm reading I'm The One That I Want by Margaret Cho as a comic interlude before I dive into Duma Key.

Sounds good. Will you please let me know what it's like when you finish it?
I've finished reading
by John Steinbeck. The Grapes of Wrath is a beautifully written but extremely moving and heartbreaking novel with interesting, realistic and well-developed characters. I love John Steinbeck's wonderful writing style. I just loved his fantastic vivid descriptions of the landscape and the people. At times the descriptions of the barren landscape and the appalling conditions the family have to put up with is very depressing. I wanted to put the book down sometimes due to this but I'm glad a persevered through and finished the novel. This novel well deserved the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction it won in 1940 and it really is a masterpiece of 20th Century literature. It is definitely a must read! Four stars! My full review is here: http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
Now I'm about to start on
by Nicholas Evans.

The book was really good a quick read as well. Ellis kinda reminded me of christopher moore (if you haven't read him you must) but on a much more deranged and creepy level. I recommend it mostly because it made me want to read more books by him.
This EU behind-the-scenes look has palace intrigue, humor, a murder mystery, and is a pretty fine read.

Finished The Casual Vacancy. I liked it, but it definitely wasn't a happy story. But I thought it was pretty good. Thinking about reading The Green Mile next, for some reason it just sounds good right now.
Aside from The Walking Dead TV show (haven't checked out the comics) I haven't been much of a zombie fan as late but I'm giving Warm Bodies a try because the trailer for the movie really piqued my curiosity.
I just started Duma Key by Stephen King. I'm trying to read all of his novels but there are so many, it is going to take awhile! I've read almost twenty of them, I think.
Stephen King-wise, The Colorado Kid and Under the Dome (hoping to finish it before it appears on ABC this summer). Non-Stephen King-wise, Unlocked by Karen Kingsbury, A Magic Broken by Vox Day, Subterranea by Mike Duran, and Rift Jump by Greg Mitchell.
Does anyone know about the Michael Connelly Harry bosch books just wondering if it matters what order u read them I just bought 9 dragons and just found out its in a series
Just finished 'The name of the wind', by Patrick Rothfuss. Amazing book for fantasy lovers and just anyone who wants a great story. I started Bret Easton Ellis' , 'American psycho'. It's good so far, fairly accurate in comparison to the movie.

Indeed I do. I finally pulled it off the shelf.

I'm currently reading Zoo by James Patterson. I'm liking it enough so far but it hasn't been as good as I really thought it was going to be.
I finished Mistborn: The Final Empire yesterday. Then I started reading Night Shift. The first story has a lot of Lovecraft influences in it.

Hey Crystal, that is what I am reading. I am on page 135. So far, it had been just alright. A kid from class raved about it, said it was his favorite book, so I decided to pick it up and read.

Finishing up Beautiful Darkness. I wanna read the book before i watch the movie so I can judge and prove to myself once again how books are always better than the movie versions. :)

I've just finished
by Nicholas Evans and
by Janet Evanovich. The Divide started off so well but the plot did get quite slow halfway through the book. I did wish it would speed up at times but the story did remain strangely engaging. The last 60 or 70 pages of the novel were just as gripping and compelling as the first half of the novel. To tell the truth, I enjoyed the family drama sub-plot a lot more than I liked the murder mystery plot but I think that was probably because I didn't like the character of Abbie all that much so I found it hard to care about what happened to her. I loved all the vivid and wonderful descriptions of the Montana setting and landscape that made me feel like I was actually there. Nicholas Evans has got a great writing style and I love his use of language and imagery. I gave this novel 3½ stars!

I love all the regular Stephanie Plum novels but I'm not sure I like these between the numbers novellas. I was very disappointed by Plum Lovin'. Nothing much happened in it and it was extremely dull and boring. It wasn't anywhere near as funny as the regular novels do be and I really hate the supernatural element in the novella. I gave it 1½ stars!

Now I'm a few chapters into
by Jennifer Donnelly.
