Aw, thank you, Irene! It must have got here, too, because I have some chocolate right next to me right now <3 :D"

Yay! I just happened to be enjoying some of the good dark chocolate you find at Trader Joe's that only comes in one pound bars because I haven't had any in a while when I was reading though the posts

Then I guess she has wonderful timing in kicking me off.

Hi. :)

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) On my second cup of tea for the day.

I foresee kidney stones in my future.

message 10009: by Elevetha (new)

Elevetha | 11058 comments I foresee something bad in my future....

message 10010: by Marlene (new)

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) Kidney stones and diabetes are my main worries. I tried staying away from sugar today (I succeeded yesterday), but I cracked a couple of hours ago. THESE WERE CALLING OUT TO ME IN MY FREEZER: http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=y...

Seriously, they're the most magical and perfect things I've ever tasted. *smiles derpily*

message 10011: by Elevetha (new)

Elevetha | 11058 comments "Diabetes"

Yeeeaaah. *groans* I eat waaay too much sugar.

Never had a York bar.

message 10012: by Marlene (new)

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) Same here. :/ Sugar is one thing I can never keep away from. It's an addiction.

*choir music plays* They are perfect! The balance between ice cream and mint, chocolate and creaminess - it is an experience which slays me!

message 10013: by Elevetha (last edited Aug 07, 2013 04:14PM) (new)

Elevetha | 11058 comments *nods seriously* I'm addicted and I know it's not a good thing. I know that, I should cut back a bit *sigh* But as my dad sagely pointed out, "Life isn't worth living if I can't eat my fudge bars."

I'll have to try one! I've always wanted to try a Magnum bar. *wistful*

message 10014: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) *cough* You know the longer you go without sugar the less you miss it?

message 10015: by Elevetha (new)

Elevetha | 11058 comments *cough* Lent *cough* That actually doesn't work on me.

message 10016: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) How long though? A couple weeks doesn't do it you have to at least go a month.

message 10017: by Marlene (last edited Aug 07, 2013 06:50PM) (new)

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) Lent lasts for six weeks.

message 10018: by Elevetha (new)

Elevetha | 11058 comments Yup

message 10019: by Marlene (new)

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) It's a good period, though. You need to detach yourself from worldly things like food and sugar, and that's not a bad thing. I get too caught up in this world sometimes. :P

message 10020: by [deleted user] (new)

I could not survive lent. Sugar baby all the way. XD
I probably should cut back, but...meh.
But just as long as I get my dark chocolate...

message 10021: by Elevetha (last edited Aug 07, 2013 06:57PM) (new)

Elevetha | 11058 comments You don't have to give up candy/sugar, just so you know.

Same here. Meh.

message 10022: by [deleted user] (new)

Uh...what show do you happen to be watching that just had a major breakthrough that you predicted ages ago?

message 10023: by Elevetha (new)

Elevetha | 11058 comments I moved my freaking to a different thread so Kyle would see it...but Teen Wolf.

message 10024: by Marlene (new)

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) Right now I just want to eat food. My dad is coming home, so when he gets home I will get to nom on meatloaf and ratatouille! \^.^/ My mom makes the most magical meatloaf you will ever taste in your life. It's especially nice when she puts bacon in it.

message 10025: by Elevetha (new)

Elevetha | 11058 comments *drool* That sounds delicious.

message 10026: by Marlene (new)

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) It is. For some reasons meatloaf baking in the oven smells a bit like baking bread. It's like the days when we made our own bread, before we found out about our gluten intolerance. Soooooooooooo good.

message 10027: by [deleted user] (new)

It's sad. I've never had ratatouille. Enjoy.
I need to go to bed, like now. Another long day of VBS tomorrow!

message 10028: by [deleted user] (new)

And I keep hearing about Teen Wolf. Never seen it, though. =(

message 10029: by [deleted user] (new)

You have a gluten intolerance? I feel for you. My sister has that, to. I would die if I couldn't have gluten. The only intolerance I have is to bananas o_O

message 10030: by Elevetha (new)

Elevetha | 11058 comments Me neither, about the ratatouille.

Yeah...I'm a teensy bit obsessedI rather like it.

Night, Abby!

message 10031: by Marlene (new)

Marlene Ocampo (seeyouspacecowboy) Watching this until my dad gets home: http://thatguywiththeglasses.com/bt/t...

I have no life. :D

message 10032: by [deleted user] (new)

Nah, just kidding; I finished it. *tears* It was only a small bar . . .

The dark stuff, Irene? *licks lips* Now I'm jealous:D Mine was just milk.

message 10034: by [deleted user] (new)

Gee, now I'm hungry.
At least I always know where the chocolate chips are hiding. I get desperate. I'll sit on the counter in our kitchen, take the bag from the cupboard, and sit indulging in those chocolate chips.

message 10035: by Elevetha (new)

Elevetha | 11058 comments Dark chocolate is icky. Milk all the way.

Nicole - Too Weird To Live, Too Rare To Die- | 342 comments I like milk chocolate and hazel chocolate

message 10037: by Elevetha (new)

Elevetha | 11058 comments Hazel?? Hmm.

message 10038: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) Eris Vakarian, Lionheart wrote: "Lent lasts for six weeks."

*shrug* it also depends on how much sugar you consume on a regular basis. It all has to get out of you system and then you have to be completely without it for a month (I guess I should have clarified that?).

@Jo: Nothing but dark, and Trader Joe's offers three different kinds of dark :) I loathe milk chocolate unless it's got stuff in it and even then it pretty much tastes like sugar to me. And don't even bring up white chocolate................

message 10039: by Briana (new)

Briana (brianals) | 15203 comments Mod
@Abby: I can picture you doing that. :P

Hazel sounds good.

message 10040: by [deleted user] (new)

@Elevetha. Dark Chocolate. Icky?! What is this madness?
I dunno, something about the bittersweet taste and abundance of flavor...*sighs dreamily*
Oh, and I also love the good memories of giving my sister and my brother-in-law raw cocoa beans. without telling them what they were eating. (Mwahahaha)

Briana (brianals) | 15203 comments Mod
Really, Abby? Really?

message 10042: by [deleted user] (new)

Hey, my brother was in on it...

message 10043: by [deleted user] (new)

It really depends on the type of chocolate. I've had really nasty milk chocolate, so now I just prefer dark.

message 10044: by Irene (new)

Irene (wingdesilverii) You know what's really good if you like dark chocolate and coffee? Chocolate covered coffee beans :)

message 10045: by [deleted user] (new)
