I'm blogging - fitfully - in the hopes of keeping interest in my vampire novel, "The Long Run," alive. Or rather, bringing it to life i nthe first place. The blog is mostly about my difficulties (so far) as a first-time author of a Young Adult vampire fantasy, the troubles of garnering attention in an ocean of fiction being written these days, and my own mixed feelings about contemporary technology, as I'm a bit older than most of you.

I have had a few blogs for over 2 years. Some promote my books, but my main one started out personal and recently has gone into the realms of books reviewing and author interviewing! I find it really fun to find out the backstory to books I loved to read.

I used to post my recipes and stuff, but found that I now have links I can go back to every year for special events, so there's no need to write the post again.

Another author here! I blog at www.nicolarwhite.com/blog, but it's mostly about publishing stuff. Sometimes I talk about the history of different genres or books I've especially enjoyed. If you're into learning more about the business side of indie publishing (kind of a "behind the scenes" look), I've come across some interesting stuff.

I also have some info up about how not to get in trouble when blogging (like using pics without giving proper credit).

I have a blog section of my website. It's such a great tool and I have top admit to not using it to its full advantage. The last thing I posted on there was a review. I think the main problem is if I find a spare few minutes to write, it's usually to finish or start a novel. I think I'll be putting the first chapter of my next series up there soon though, just to add some good content.
