Oh yes, I am pretty sure all of us have plenty to read while we wait. I sure don't waste my time with just waiting. But for me half of the fun is the anticipation -- it is like waiting for Christmas -- except I know when Christmas will be here.

it has already come out in paperback in English, Harper Voyager has released an A-sized paperback, one volume, with a preview chapter from TWOW... also, there are two kinds of sets out, one with the one volume edition of ADWD and one which has it divided into two volumes :)

exactly, as long as he delivers (and I am not one waiting in negative anticipation like oh my gee what will he eff up; or the kind of ppl who raise some kind of expectations, either sky high or so specific as to be impossible to meet, so they can bash the book afterwards) I dont mind the wait :)

as a matter of fact, yes, it is... besides, I think it is one of those chapters that were said to be cut out of ADWD for use in TWOW, so it wasnt a big deal for them to make it public I guess, since it was already written
but still a nice extra for ppl :)

Thanks for the heads up! =) I'm actually waiting for the Bantam (or is it Random House?) edition to come out (to match my other paperbacks--not that they're really matching since the covers have been changing every several years or so). I remember seeing the paperback edition you mentioned that was divided into two volumes--very sleek =)

I really like the job Harper Voyager did with the brand new paperbacks that I bet they released to match the 2nd season of the show on HBO... by that I mean the two new box-sets released, the two different editions of ADWD, and of course all new 2012 paperbacks that, even though 2011 paperbacks still look damn great, the new ones look even classier - more textured covers, some neat glittering letters, darker tinge to colors, me likey!
but I gotta admit that Bantam did one hell of an awesome job with the Malazan book covers for their paperbacks <3

so yea, I'm reading Erikson right now, then I got complete Poe, Lovecraft and a good selection of Blake at hand, and then (a very long list of books I bought and havent read yet, and still growing :D) I got enough other books to keep me entertained... as long as the next book delivers, especially given the awesome set-up he has given us with AFFC and ADWD combined, I dont mind "the wait"
