(view spoiler)[I share that theory. I was wondering if Aemon knew, but of course he died. I suppose it's possible that, if he did, he has notes somewhere. Of course there's also always the possibility of something in the various prophecies, in which Rhaegar clearly believed.

There has been reference to a song/legend called "Dance of the Dragons" which refers to war between brother and sister. It could have interesting implications given the title of the next book, although it doesn't seem as though it could refer to actual siblings as Dany & Jon seem to be the only Targaryens, but are aunt and nephew, not sister and brother. Wow. A lot to discuss here. I think I'll stick to Jon Snow and Dani: (view spoiler)[I think it likely that they are related, regarding the theory that Jon is son of Lyanna and Rhaegar. But I wouldn't doubt it for Martin to throw in another curve ball on us with this one.

Regarding Jon and Dani squaring off, I don't know. That could happen, but as someone mentioned, Jon would have to break his vows. That would probably involve the wall becoming unecessary. But it can't because of the dead, blue-eyed demons from beyond that have still not been resolved.

The Wildlings issue was resolved by the end of book four, wasn't it? I can't remember. (hide spoiler)]
