Jason, it didn't look like anyone answered your question. I think the ladies were referring to the..."
Lady D is 100% right.

Thanks, Lady Danielle!

Aww! It's kind of embarrassing when that happens, huh?

The zombies are... vicious and brutal and awesome, but the great thing about WWZ is the background stuff, the political and social and economic and militaristic atmosphere of the world after the zombie apocalypse. It's told in interview style, and the shifting perspectives had me hooked immediately. It's great. I loved it. :D

I'm also still working on The Well of Ascension on my nook.
Now I just need a deadtree book to round off the format trifecta. LOL Probably The Tapestry Shop by Joyce Elson Moore which is my HF group read starting today. :)

I bought that a few weeks ago but haven't started it yet! Tell me what you think!

That sounds like cruel and unusual punishment. LOL

LOL! My friends used to get mad at me because I won't let them borrow books. I have some friends that can and others that are on the "NO!" list.
I also get really PO'd about spine cracking, dog ears, etc. I've gotten in a few arguements about book care - in college (after a while) they knew just not to ask.

That is good to hear Tina-I read book 1 and did not care for it. I found Mac to be a little too 'Mary-Sueish' for my taste. Maybe i should give it a nother shot...

Tina, I prefer Moning's Highlander series over the Fever series.

That's me too, a bookmiser! I don't share well with others.

Oh, just starting The Lies of Locke Lamora.

It took me two whole months to read the first one. It is a 384 page book. By contrast it took me 4 days to read The Name of the Wind a 662 page book. People told me to just grit my teeth through the first one and that Mac gets better as the series goes on. I am already seeing improvement in her. I had to keep reminding myself that I'd have given up on quite a few good series if I had stopped at less than stellar first books. Some series don't hit their stride til book 3.

After this one, I'm going to try to buckle down and finish up LoLL and see if I can squeeze in Monster Hunter International

Oh, he did say if I lost 40 pounds I might have a small chance of survival. Happily I
have already started more exercise, so who knows, there may be a slight chance for me...just you know, a flicker.

Gosh, your doc really knows how to shine a light at the end of the tunnel, doesn't he? Did you ask about his moods?

Jason, it didn't look like anyone answered your question. I think the ladies were referring to the check you do before you leave home to make sure you have everything. I got everything but my purse one day, and I found out when I got to the gas station, but had no money to buy gas. So back home I went. :)
